I see that it is read as "Sekepikozan". If I had not drank this sake, I might not have been able to read it correctly for the rest of my life. The taste is fresh and quite rich. The bitter bitterness comes out in the back of the mouth, and the taste is sharp and clean. The sweetness is modest for Aizan, and although it is not the modern type of sake, the umami flavor is very well conveyed. Not bad!

I've been wanting to try this one for a while...they use 1801 yeast. It's gorgeous and fruity. It's also quite sweet. I think it's the most gorgeous of all the Yukihikosan brands. This was over 2,000 yen at Asano Sake Shop, but at a local liquor store it was 1,980 yen🙄. I wonder what it is? I heard some breweries and stores add on shipping costs 🤔.

Sake opened at a remote off-line meeting (3) I was asked "What is the best sake you drank this year? I answered "Aozora", but later I remembered that it was the future of sake from Akabu newborn 🤣. By this time I couldn't even remember what it tasted like, so I checked again the next day. The rice used is 100% Benkei. It is a kijoshu, although there is no description. Purchased at the HYOGO SAKE EXPO. The aroma is of aged aroma like Shaoxing wine. The hint of gunpowder-like aroma. I think it is clean and easy to drink for an aged wine. I thought it would be good to drink with fruits and sweets. The acidity is a nice accent. Perhaps because it is a daiginjo, it feels fruity even though it is an aged sake.

I would never have been able to do such a thing with my own pocketbook. When I pour it into the cup, it is more yellow than I expected! Is this a matured type? The aroma is slightly fruity, but has a bitter, mature aroma. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, with a light sweetness and bitterness, and a moderate umami, but the maturing aroma in the aftertaste is unique. The light sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste are quite a tricky thing to pull off. This strange taste is not one of my favorites, but it is something that makes me want to drink it again. Purchased with Tenryo sake cup at Okuhiroya in Kayashima. They stocked it because it was well received at a Saga sake tasting event held for sake retailers. Probably not normally available in the Kansai region. The rice is made from Hokkaido's Kitashizuku. I know Nabeshima also uses Kitashizuku. It has a beautiful sake quality for the rice polishing ratio. There is a slight sweetness, but it is also slightly thin and heavy. It also has a nutty taste. It tastes like nothing else.
