ジェイ&ノビィAs many people in Kansai have been posting about the "Niigata Sake Festival" 😊I thought I'd share with you some Niigata sake that I haven't had 🤗.
I found it at a liquor store in Chiba and brought it to Utsunomiya.

The aroma is quite sweet.
The aroma is quite sweet, but when you take a sip, you'll be surprised how sweet it is 😳and how bitter and bitter it is 😚 It's like the dark brown sugar-like sweetness of the Murayu I had about 3 years ago, with some bitterness and a touch of alcohol added.
As I got used to it as I drank more and more, I thought 😊this could be good, but it still didn't speed up my drinking 😅I finished it with a little left over for the day!
I paired it with a nabe (hot pot) on the second day, and yes it was delicious, but still sweet! It was like that 😊.
I was surprised at first 🤔 because I thought Niigata sake = neat and dry 🤔 but we felt the taste of +3 compared to Takashi's No.18 😋.
By the way, last weekend we could only buy a few bottles of sake due to the giku-ruckus 🥲, so on Sunday we went to two nearby liquor stores and restocked about 5 bottles 🍶.
I went home and packed the fridge, but I couldn't shake the feeling of rattle 😑.
It doesn't feel like a J&N family fridge unless you buy a weekend's worth 😆. ヤスベェGood evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
I think the region where the sake is brewed can be an inspiration for the taste 🤣.
The reason why we don't go for Niigata sake in our house is because we have a strong image of light and dry 😅.

So this is the first time I've met Hokushinryu ‼️ I've been to Obuse, which is famous for chestnuts🌰 when I lived in Nagano🧐.

I don't really notice the aroma 😌.
When you take a sip, you think it's slightly sweet, but it has a slightly bitter taste 😒 like one of your relatives at a family gathering 🤔"It has a strange taste," was our first impression 🙂.
But when we paired it with soba noodles and sashimi, which were our accompaniments for the day, it was as if our ⁉️ relatives had returned 😆It evolved into a voluptuous flavor and acidity that complemented the meal 😙.
By the way, here's a story that happened to me after a weekend of back pain 😫.
I pulled my father out of the tub and sat him on the bath chair and was getting ready to wash his head when he kind of leaned over 😵 and seemed to pass out from the heat: 😵💫
I was in a hurry😱I laid him down in the bathtub and cared for him for a while and he came back to life😳.
I was so nervous and it was hard on my back 💦 to be alone in this situation 😫 but it was a good experience 🧐.

This weekend I was originally going to Chiba, Japan, and I was supposed to leave early in the morning on Saturday, so I decided not to drink on Friday and to drink on Thursday night 🤗.
The sake chosen was the Noto Reconstruction Support Sake that Manta-san also drank! This sake was brewed with rice that miraculously survived, along with Kurumata Shuzo's sake rice, and blended with a small amount of Okei Junmai that was left under the brewery, to "multiply" the goodness of both Noto Okei and Tengumai 😌.

The sake of choice was Narumi, which Jay bought in Chiba a while ago! It's the first time I've seen a dry junmai usun nigori (light nigori) 🤗.
I thought it would be easy to drink if it was a 14% Narumi, so let's have a party 🍶! The aroma is fresh and dry 😌.
The first sip is a bit sour 😆.
It's like adding lemon🍋 to grapefruit juice.
Next, when I mixed in the Ori, the taste changed quite a bit 😳At once the bitterness was added and a dry and refreshing feeling was added 👍This was delicious 😋 and it went down smoothly, but when I looked at the label, it looked like it was also good warmed up 🍶!
We started drinking it early and as expected, we finished it before we could get our hands on the second bottle 😚.
By the way, the other day, I suddenly thought of playing "Animal Crossing" for the first time in a very long time, which I was addicted to when I was in the Corona disaster 😊There were many Gs in the house😱I exterminated them well and enjoyed the reunion with the villagers after 3 years🥹It was a well-made island, even for me 😌. まつちよGood evening J&N 🍶.

ジェイ&ノビィWhen I visit my father in Chiba, I always stop by Sake no Oikawa ‼️ and I saw something that appealed to me from the fridge next to the cash register 😆 I got the look and brought it with me 🤗.
This one is an extra seasonal version of Mansaku no Hana's standard sake, made under the concept of "good and spicy" 😍 J&N are no longer scared of sake with a sake level of +15 or so 😁.

Oh, I see 😗! Well 😗 it's not quite as clean but it's dry with a touch of umami 😋 it has a nice mouthfeel but with a lingering bitterness, I could feel the power that comes with it 💪.
The sake level of +15 was OK, but after drinking Senkyu Dobrok 😋, the alcohol level of 17% seemed a bit high for us 😅It might be dangerous to drink it at the usual rate 😅⚠️
The second day was more relaxed 😋, but... a little more fruity would be nice 🤔.
