I went to see Morioka's Sansa Odori dance for the first time. It was a summer festival 🎇 and there were so many people and so much excitement that it made me think 🤔. I enjoyed the festival for the first time in a long time 👍. Today I opened this bottle while relaxing 😄 The aroma is citrusy, reminiscent of sweet summer. In the mouth, freshness, sweetness, acidity, and finally umami and a slight bitterness. Overall, this sake has a wonderful balance. Now, let's try it with beef tendon and vegetables stewed in tomato sauce. The umami and acidity of each overlap and enhance each other's sweetness, and this sake refreshes the palate. I wondered what would be good to pair with tonight's western style hot pot 🤔I chose this one👍. Let's start with this one. The aroma has a hint of sourness and a hint of bran. In the mouth, it has a complex flavor with acidity, bitterness, a refreshing citrus taste, and some sakekasu (sake lees). It is a sake that is half sake and half white wine. I paired it with a tomato-based cataplagna hot pot. The acidity of both wines balanced each other out nicely and increased the sweetness and umami of this sake 😄It is refreshing and has a strange taste that is like a natura wine but also a sake 🍷🍶It's delicious either way though 😋. In the mouth, it has a crisp mouthfeel with a sense of ear of rice, acidity, bitterness, and astringency. After that, the sweetness and umami of the rice spreads. Serve with broiled eel. Today is the first time this year I'm eating rock oysters so I thought about what to have 🤔I chose this one 🤔I actually went to the sake brewery and took the plunge and bought the limited edition sake only available there 😘Almost all of this brewery's sake🍶 is consumed only in Iwate Prefecture and is not available nationwide😳. The nose has a hint of ear of rice, acidity, and alcohol. In the mouth, the sweetness and umami of the rice, and the lingering acidity and bitterness spread to the end. A delicious sake that is typical of Japanese sake. Now let's try it with rock oysters. The unique rocky shore aroma and creamy flavor and umami bring out the perfect balance of sweetness and umami in this sake. A great match 👍😙. Also, I can faintly taste some koji at the back of the nostrils. In the mouth, it has a smooth and refreshing taste with a good fruity sweetness and a bitter taste at the end. The bitterness is stronger than expected. Serve with fried eggplant with minced pork 🍆. The sweetness of the minced pork enhances the sweetness of this sake, but I think it leaves some bitterness in the aftertaste. Maybe due to the climate and humidity 🤔. The color is yellowish. The standing aroma is I think it has a light alcohol and rice ear feeling. I can also taste a hint of rice sweetness. In the mouth, it is dry and refreshing with acidity. As you drink it, you can taste the moderate sweetness and umami of the rice. Perfect for hot summer 😁. Now, let's have it with hairy crab 🦀. The crab's deliciousness and the light, tender meat of the crab, when combined with this sake, enhances the taste of both and makes me feel something like summer 🎐As I was eating, I encountered crab miso 🚀 which was also great 😙‼️ blissful time 😙. On a day like this, I chose to go to Otsuchi since I was passing through 👍. The aroma is citrusy. The palate is crisp and grapefruit-like with no bitterness. Now, let's try it with Shijimi clam with garlic butter.
