This is the first Koueikiku to be drunk at home. The taste is easy to drink, with a lingering orange flavor. It has a very light aftertaste, slightly reminiscent of early summer. Since it is juicy, it goes well with light appetizers, salami, and okaki (crackers). Perfect for watching a movie while eating persimmon seeds and nuts on the evening of a holiday weekend. ‼️ It has a wonderful rosé wine-like ease of use. ❣️

I received this as a souvenir from Nara. It is really a Kijo-zake, like a noble rotten wine or ice wine. The kijo-zake I have had before had a habit of being like old sake, but this one has no peculiarities and is a concentrated sweetness of rice. I paired it first with gorgonzola cheese, and it was perfect. ❤️ Wow, this is sake made from rice? ⁉️ I was surprised. According to the attached description, it is also delicious over chocolate and ice cream. It's too good to be true, so I'm going to drink it little by little ✨ Ah, sake is so deep 😋.

I received this as a souvenir from Chichibu. It is a brewer's alcohol-sweetened, long time "old-fashioned sake". I've been drinking a lot of junmai fruity sake lately, so this is a fresh new experience for me. I had it at room temperature, but it might be good warmed up as well 😅 When I realized ⁉️, the 300ml bottle was empty 😅. It's the kind of sake I'd like to drink at a local izakaya: ❣️ P.S. I noticed after uploading this that the label says to keep it refrigerated. It seems I made a mistake in how to store and how to drink it 😅 If you receive a gift, read the label carefully (lesson learned).

I love Houou Mita's fruit liqueurs, and every time I find a type I haven't tried yet, I buy it immediately. This time it's Lemon Lemon 🍋. This one is definitely better with soda. ‼️ It goes well with any Japanese, Western, or Chinese home prepared food. The alcohol seems to add a fine richness to the refreshing acidity and bitterness of the pesticide-free Graduates. It's perfect for summer days ...... in April. It will be gone in no time😅.

I bought this at a roadside station in Tsuru, Yamanashi. It is a thick rice juice with a refreshing sweetness. It is a solid alcohol, but it is easy to drink without any strange peculiarities. ❗️ Actually, I have never thought dobrokku tasted so good, but I like this one. I also bought fresh vegetables, wild vegetables, and pickles at the same roadside station, and they go well with a simple Japanese dish or a boned dish. ❤️ It would definitely go well with miso-flavored "houtou". I would like to drink it with soda after tomorrow.

The liquor store I sometimes go to has about six varieties of Eiko Fuji on the shelf, and after much agonizing, I picked up this one with a zebra pattern🦓❗️ It is full of the charm of Gohyakumangoku, a refreshing sweetness that would go well with various home prepared foods. I had it in three batches. ① Pork shabu shabu with ponzu sauce ◎ (2) Okonomiyaki ◎◎ 3) Fried shrimp, fried oysters Maybe it will be difficult to match if even fried food is biased to western food. ⁉️ This wine tastes best on the first day of drinking, and a little bit alcoholic on the fourth day. I'm going to buy two kinds and compare them at home next time when there are about 6 kinds of Eiko Fuji on the shelf. I'm looking forward to it 😊.

It has a light, fruity sweetness that is close to that of wine. But it is like Kochi's sake, basically a region that respects dryness, so it is based on that, but in a modern style that is more fruity. ❗️ It goes well with Japanese and Western home-style prepared foods. It is also perfect with ponzu (Japanese citrus juice) and soy sauce. It is perfect for a light weekday evening drink. ❤️

URARA...I've always wanted to try this 🌸 It has a wine-like mouthfeel, with a gentle sweetness to start, but a lingering finish that is light and easy, as is typical of Hachisen. It has a quiet elegance, and is a perfect match for home-style dishes that are a little more Western. Today's dinner was "Hiroshima-yaki" (Hiroshima-style pancake), with a salad of fresh onions and dried bonito flakes as a chopstick rest, which went well with the dish. ❤️ Oh, it was delicious, thank you 😋.

Can be stored at room temperature. It is a pink-labeled Great Snow Creek. The first sip has a sweet taste, but it quickly turns into a well-balanced drink. It is good to drink at room temperature. It will come in handy when viewing cherry blossoms or camping 🌸. Medium-bodied and mild, it tastes like the kind of local sake that locals might drink at an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) on a trip.

At my favorite liquor store, the clerk in charge of tasting asked me if I would like to try an olive yeast junmai sake. I was surprised when I drank it. ❗️ It is a firm but fresh Junmai sake with an olive aroma. ❣️ On the first day, I tried it with tomato soup with lots of olive oil and it went well with it, but not surprisingly😅. On the second day, I tried it with samgyeopsal with kimchi and lots of garlic and it went quite well with it‼️ I'm planning to try it after tomorrow, but I think it would also go well with domestic lightly smoked cheese and miso marinated cream cheese, so I'm going to try a lot of different things. It is a fun junmai sake that allows for trial and error in the selection of tsumami. ❤️ P.S.: It went great with fried chicken! It went great with fried chicken. ‼️ I'm sure it goes well with fried food in general 😋 Ahh that was fun. Thanks for the food ✨

This is the third home brewed spring sake of the season, Raifuku's Sakura Yeast. The label is 🌸 in full bloom ❗️ I like seasonal flower yeast, so I tend to buy flower yeast sake from my favorite brewery ☺️ The taste is gentle and really spring... It is slightly sweet but light, so it goes well with salty or sweet ginger soy sauce flavored home Chinese dishes. Of course, it also goes perfectly with aji sashimi in ginger soy sauce ✨. Harusake is useful at our table because it goes well not only with Japanese side dishes, but also with light home Chinese dishes. Ahh, it was delicious, thank you for the treat 😋.

It has a rounded aftertaste, not overly fresh, not overly dry, and mildly mid-palate. Today, I served it with "KOBU-SHABU SHABU-SHABU," a pork shabu-shabu with a refined aftertaste. Of course it goes well with it, but I am sure it would go even better with "sea bream shabu shabu". I want to drink it at a sushi restaurant, It's a really soft sake. It's delicious!

Shimane Sake (8) This is the last one we bought in bulk at Tamatsukuri Onsen in November. It is an easy-drinking type with a fruity flavor, but it is not overly sweet and has a lingering mid-palate. It is best drunk at room temperature. It is a perfect match for all kinds of home-style dishes, and is a sake that you will never get tired of drinking. If I had it on hand, I would definitely pour it in the first glass. It seems to be a test brew, so it will probably be distributed in the market with a nice name soon 💖. Living in the Tokyo metropolitan area, Shimane sake is hard to come by, but from now on, I'll be sure to check it out when I see it at the liquor store: ‼️

Last weekend's Banshu Ikken Spring Sake was so good that this weekend we are going to have Shungiku Spring Sake🌸. Spring has come to Sono Kangiku. ‼️. It is light, like soda water or freshly squeezed juice. But it is 15 degrees, so you will get drunk after drinking about 2 gou of it. I was nervous about the warning when opening the bottle, but I was relieved to hear it spit out through the crack and not fly away. This is my first time drinking the OCEAN99 series, so I would definitely like to drink them in other seasons. Tonight's main dish was sardine simmered with lots of ginger. It went very well with it and was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality 😋.

I drank Banshu Issen for the first time at home. As the label suggests, it has a light, spring-like sweetness and a fluffy spread of umami. Since it is a draft sake, it also has a mild taste, but that too flows smoothly. When the bottle is opened, there is a small pop and a moderate fizz. Everything is light and cohesive, yet it still retains its Banshu Ikkyo character. Tonight we will have hand-rolled sushi. Squid, swordfish, horse mackerel, etc. go well with ginger soy sauce. ❤️ It also goes well with sushi rice. ‼️ Spring is coming soon🌸 Thanks for the food 😋.

I am a resident of Kanagawa Prefecture, so I love Oyataka Sake Brewery. However, this is the first time I have had a freshly squeezed new brew of Zanko Horai. Tonight, we had horse mackerel and Oyama tofu. They go so well together💓. I've had the year-round version of Zanzou Hourai many times and it's my favorite type, but the new Shiboritate is too delicious with the gorgeousness and freshness of new sake. ‼️ I forced myself to finish the bottle half full since it was a weekday, but if this was on a weekend, I would have chugged the whole 4-goupe bottle 🤗. It was delicious✨thanks for the treat 😋.

Shimane Sake (7) A 4-goupe bottle that I bought in Shimane. Of course I tasted it, but it was the red fox that caught my attention. I've had it on the open shelf in the kitchen since New Year's ✨. Tonight we are having a seafood nabe with miso and ginger. We tried various types of sake, including lukewarm, hot, and tobikiri, but our favorite was the tobikiri. It's a little classical, with a refreshing rice flavor that is typical of Shimane sake, and goes well with a homey nabe 👍. We enjoyed it as if it were sake served at a shrine's autumn festival.

I bought this bottle with the intention of drinking it over the weekend, but even though it was only Tuesday, I couldn't resist opening it😅. As soon as you drink it, it starts off with a pineapple-like sweetness, but soon the sweetness is topped with a clear Kochi sake-like flavor. The aftertaste is not sweet, and I keep drinking it again. Since it was a weekday, I stopped drinking it halfway through, but if it were the weekend, I would open a bottle in no time 😋.

Haneya Tsubasa, which I bought to go with a Western-oriented dinner. It has a light, fresh taste and seems to go well with oil. On the first day, I grilled thin slices of bacon on a griddle and used the fat to grill potatoes and vegetables. The saltiness and flavor of the bacon comes alive. The slight sweetness resets your mouth like water. The second day was "monjayaki" (fried pork with kimchi and mentaiko cheese). ❗️ I had given up on sake for monjayaki, but it went great with it. ‼️ I don't think the toji at Haneya would have thought to pair it with monjayaki. ⁉️ It was really delicious 😋 Thanks for the food. I found "Strawberry" in the refrigerator at the liquor store next to the Heki-ban I posted yesterday. All of the Houou Mita liqueurs I have had so far have been unquestionably delicious, so I put my first "Strawberry" in my basket without even thinking about it 😍. It really is strawberry. The sweetness is concentrated and it is almost like strawberry jam. Of course, it is delicious as it is, but I recommend pouring it generously over Häagen-Dazs Rich Milk. It tastes great with vanilla, but the rich milk gives it a more strawberry milk feel ✨. I guess the 5% alcohol gives it more depth of flavor ⁉️ I would love to keep eating it forever, but ice cream in winter is a bit cold 😅.
