Today's sake is Buko-Masamune, a local sake from Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture. ☺️ This is another sake I bought on a recent trip to Saitama!
As the label says, it tastes great cold or lukewarm, so I tasted it and bought it!
It has a subtle nose on the nose, but when chilled, the acidity is a bit strong but the overall flavor is mild, but this sake also shows its true potential when lukewarm ✨.
The acidity mellows out and the richness and fullness of the junmai flavor comes through in full force. ☺️ Oh, this is so good lukewarm!
I think tasting the local sake and thinking about the region makes the sake taste even better! Well, I bought it in Kawagoe!
Thank you for the sake!

Buko Masamune Honjozo
The classic, rugged label gives this sake a "local sake" feel, and the taste is the kind of sake you can linger over for hours without getting tired of drinking it. Nice Masamune👍
You can't imagine it from the classic label, but it's a reference to the anime "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" (We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day), set in Chichibu City. (a.k.a. "Anohana"), an anime set in Chichibu City.
Good morning, Nemuchi 😃.
Nice Masamune👍.
It's an everyday drink like they serve at local festivals. ❗️ I'm learning a lot about it. And the rugged label... "Masamune, that's how it should be" 🤗.
I want this label for a poster 🤣.
Hi Hiro, good evening 🌛Thanks for the nice Masamune 😊They say it's a locally loved sake with a bearded letter label that has the feel of a local sake & the Masamune 😆 I would love to collect Masamune labels 🤣.

This is another sake that you hear the name but don't see in Kansai
They seem to be producing a sake with a label of "Anohana" (flower).
Polishing ratio 70%, Miyamanishiki, Sake degree +3, Acidity 1.4, 15 degrees, 1,320 yen
It is a classic Japanese sake.
It feels spicier than the sake level. I thought it was suitable for warming up.
Nice Masamune👍
Hi Hiro 😊
I have the impression that it's the type of sake that old men drink in a bottle 🤔.
I also have the impression that people who go to Chichibu buy it as a souvenir 😁.
Buko-Masamune Junmai Sake
Mellow dry taste
Full aroma, delicious rice flavor.
I like it a lot. I thought I would not like the dry mellow taste, but I liked the deep flavor.
A friend gave it to me as a gift, saying she liked it and drank it often.
Full-bodied and dry with a mellow flavor. An orthodox junmai sake. When drunk with a meal, the richness of the sake is hardly asserted and the umami of the rice can be gently sensed!
Rice polishing ratio→60
Alcohol content: 15%.
I bought this as a souvenir from Chichibu!
The 3rd day after opening the bottle is the best lol.
It goes well with snacks!
I had it in the morning lol.
