Bought directly from the Mukho Sake Brewery... Aroma: Slightly cemedine? As the label on the back says, it's a solid and heavy sake. It is like a local sake, and the bitterness in the aftertaste is a bit of a problem, but...it soaks into your guts...it goes well with strong flavored snacks...smoked hoya and stewed tuna...I enjoy it with a little bit of it....

This is also a gift from my youngest son... a local Chichibu sake from my hometown of Chichibu, Saitama. I know you may not like it, but...it goes well with Chichibu's hormone...and today's snack was...freshly kama-age shirasu (dried young sardines) from Miura, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Buko-Masamune Junmai Sake Mellow dry taste Full aroma, delicious rice flavor. I like it a lot. I thought I would not like the dry mellow taste, but I liked the deep flavor.

A friend gave it to me as a gift, saying she liked it and drank it often. Full-bodied and dry with a mellow flavor. An orthodox junmai sake. When drunk with a meal, the richness of the sake is hardly asserted and the umami of the rice can be gently sensed! Rice polishing ratio→60 Alcohol content: 15%.

I don't think it's that dry, but it's very mellow! The alcohol content is 18%, which is the highest in a long time, but you don't feel the alcohol that much. The initial aroma is citrus without any sweetness. The liquid has a slight yellowish tint, with long, clear legs.

Color is almost colorless and transparent. The aroma is of rice and a slightly melon-like ginjo aroma The taste is umami, but the bitterness is more pronounced than the sweetness, which is slightly different from the dryness of alcohol. The lingering bitter aftertaste is good with meals.
