Tonight, I went to a sake shop to find a new sake! This is my first Oita sake.
When I opened the bottle, the aroma was of Japanese pear and the taste was thin, cloudy, and slightly effervescent. The first sip had a light mouthfeel with a lactic acidity and a long aftertaste. It is not bad as a food sake, but I think it is suitable as a stand-alone sake.

This is the first Shizuoka sake, one of two bottles I recently purchased.
When the bottle was opened, the aroma was not strong. When I took a sip, I found it to be drier than I expected. It is refreshing, so it is good for those who do not like sweet sake.

A visit to a liquor store after a long absence. I chose a selection of sake mainly from prefectures that I have not drank before. This was my first Ishikawa sake.
The aroma was subtle, and when you put it in your mouth, you could feel it on the tip of your tongue. The soft sweetness and mild acidity, combined with the low alcohol content, made it very easy and gentle to drink.

I stopped by and stopped by to enter the drawing. Instead of capturing a beetle, I bought this one. This is my first Houou Mita.
When I opened the bottle, the aroma was not so strong, but when I poured it into the glass, the fine bubbles made my expectations grow.
When you take a sip, you can feel the chili on the tip of your tongue. The dry impression is followed by the spread of umami and sweetness, which quickly fades away.
This is delicious! My favorite flavor. I'm sure I'll be back for more.

HakutsuruAlternative 白鶴錦 純米大吟醸

As a layman, I only knew Hakutsuru as "Maru," but when I saw it as an award-winning sake at a liquor store, I bought it. Surprisingly, it was my first Hyogo sake.
When I opened the bottle, the aroma was gorgeous and fruity. It has a strong sweetness in the mouth.
It is more suitable for drinking by itself than with a meal. It is delicious, but a little tiring to drink.

It has been a while since I have been to a liquor store, and I was taken in by a summer sake from Shinomine that had previously impressed me. The label was cool and nice.
When we opened the bottle, the aroma was mild. It has a mild aroma, and when you put it in your mouth, it has a chili-like flavor. It is fresh, has no peculiarities, and has a nice sharpness. I liked Shinomine.

Opened a full bottle on Father's Day the other day. It is the first Kumamoto sake.
The bottle was opened with great vigor, and the sweet and tasty taste was just delicious. It was more like a cider than a sake. It is low in alcohol and juicy, and if I didn't restrain myself, I could drink as much as I wanted.
Next time I see it, I will buy it without hesitation.

Among the many sakes available, we chose this brand, which is not sold in the neighborhood.
When the bottle was opened, it had a fruity aroma. In the mouth, it had a chili-like flavor, with a rich sweetness and a good acidity. It was gorgeous and delicious, and I would like to drink a different sake rice.
We also had a comparison of the 16th generation Kuroemon sake. All were delicious, but the Omachi was my favorite of the three.

On the way to the store, I found a liquor store! I looked in the store and saw a hard-to-find brand of Nabeshima sitting there, so I immediately bought it.
The bottle was opened with caution, so we opened it carefully.
The aroma was mild, and the first sip had a chili-like flavor. The sweetness and acidity are moderate, and the rice flavor and moderate bitterness finish it off, which I liked. It is also good value for money.
If I have a chance, I would like to drink the sparkling label.

Sogapère et Fis is a hard-to-find brand. I had been saving it for a special occasion, but when the expiration date approached, I opened the bottle in a hurry.
The aroma was faint, and when I took a sip, I felt a unique and indescribable sourness. It may be addictive.

First Gifu sake. When the bottle was opened, the aroma was faintly muscat. The alcohol content is 14.5 degrees and it is slightly light. The sweetness, acidity, and bitterness are not too assertive, making it easy to drink.

For the AQE2025 collaboration, I chose Toyobai to accompany the rice wine. I had never seen it on the store shelves. When the bottle was opened, there was no hint of chili, and a faint aroma of pear. When you take a sip, the sweetness is subdued, and there is a bitter, alty taste with a long aftertaste. I thought it was a hard-core sake that was not influenced by the current trends.

Tasake is not often available, but I was able to purchase the AQE collaboration sake. The aroma was faintly apple, or maybe pear. It had a strong sweet and umami flavor, and because of the high alcohol content (17%), it tasted very doshiri. I have another bottle of another collaboration sake to compare.
