My first Kyoto sake. I chose Sawaya-Matsumoto's Mori-ba-ri Gohyakumangoku, which I had been curious about. I opened the bottle with a splash. The aroma was slightly citrusy. One sip and it was delicious 😋. It has a chili-like flavor, with an elegant sweetness and a refreshing taste. It seems to go well with Japanese food. It exceeded my expectations and the price was reasonable.

I tried a basic junmai sake from Akabu, which was often recommended at Sake-no-wa. This is my first Iwate sake. The aroma was not strong, and none of the flavors (sweet, spicy, bitter, or umami) stood out, and after swallowing, I occasionally felt alcohol. It must be well-balanced. Although Akabu is a very popular sake, I was not impressed beyond my expectations. Next time, I will aim for junmai ginjo-shu or better.

My first Toyama sake. Hachitan Nishiki from Hiroshima and the sunset at Miyajima, the jacket is beautiful and perfect. You can feel the respect for Hiroshima. The taste is also unquestionable. It was delicious, with a slight gasiness and sweetness that spread to the palate, followed by acidity.

The first Sentori. It is a light cloudy cherry blossom. The aroma and taste remind us of pear. Today we will have it mixed with ori. The alcohol is 13 degrees, so you can drink as much as you want.

There is a slight chili sensation on the tip of the tongue. It is sharper and drier than the sake I have been drinking recently. Since the bottle has just been opened, I would like to see how it changes. Then, even after an interval of a few days, a slight chili sensation. It seemed to get sweeter with each additional glass.
