Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 20249
Mt. Myoko. Myoko City, and a phantom rice called "Norin I", which is cultivated only in Myoko City. Sake rice that you do not know, it is very deep.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024⑧.
I chose the event's limited Junmai Nama-zake. It rained heavily on Saturday, and although I did not attend on Sunday, I heard it was very cold and heated sake was very popular. The sake has a great flavor, so it would be delicious warmed up.
Good evening, Strawberry Aisu!
I was very confused about what to buy this time because there were various limited edition sake on sale. I'm looking forward to opening it 😌.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024⑦
Itoigawa's Inomata Sake Brewery.
This is a low-paste sake. Last year they did not participate due to the Itoigawa Sake Festival on the same day. Itoigawa city is next to Toyama, but it needs to be explored more 😄.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024⑥.
Next is Nohaka. It is a sake with a heated sake image, isn't it? In fact, we had a reservation at Gun-chan in front of Joetsu Station for this night, but the heated sake was from Nohtaka.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024⑤.
Kiminoi. I tasted various kinds of sake, but this heated sake was delicious. I think it is definitely a delicious sake to drink slowly at home in the coming season. ✌️
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024④.
Ayu Masamune. I think there was a new sake tasting, but I don't have a picture of it.
The second camouflage pattern was the easiest to drink and I bought it in the second week after I heard it was limited to the venue. ✌️
The brewery is located in Myoko City.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024 ③.
Next is Chiyonomitsu.
This is another favorite brewery of mine. I wanted to take my time to compare the different sakes, but I wanted to make a round before the heavy rain came.
Personally, I would have liked to have had more time to savor Echino Shiratori, Yukinakubai, and Chiyonomitsu 😭.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024②.
Yukinakubai. There were both heated sake and regular sake, but I tasted the limited sale at the venue. It was refreshing and tasty for a pure sake 😋.
We said we would come back later to buy some more and moved on.
We decided to take our time and have some more on the second week.
Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024①
I entered the festival around noon on Saturday. At the entrance, you pay 3,000 yen for one day of tasting and receive a cup of sake and a wristband.
This year there were 27 tastings and 21 sake breweries. The price of the tasting went up from last year, but the number of participants decreased and the amount of sake tasting increased. I think the price is appropriate to some extent, as we are all in the same boat.
The weather forecast was for heavy rain in the afternoon due to a passing front, so we dashed to 🏃➡️ before the rain started.
The first one was Daiichi Sake Brewery. Yamama is limited to special dealers, so they can't offer it at the event.
All of them are delicious with a strong taste of rice😄The special price was 2,000 yen for all four types of Junmai Ginjo to Daiginjo, which were sold only at the event. I promised to go back to the second store later to buy some more.
The pamphlet became squishy due to heavy rain later 😭.
Jay & Nobby, here too 😃.
I saw your post, I was wondering if you are Saito? I was wondering, but I see you're in Chiba. I brought a bottle of Daiginjo with me and will open a bottle sometime 😉.
Yamazan Sanada Rokubun Sen Junmai Ginjo Hitogochi Gowari Gobun Ikuhashi-tsukuri 720ml
Rice: Hitogochi, 100% Yaehara rice from Tomi-city, Nagano, Japan
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 15%.
We found this bottle at Miyajima-san last month and bought it.
The bottle was opened lightly. It is slightly fizzy and slightly cloudy.
I am going to Ueda and Chikuma tomorrow and would like to buy some if they still have it.
Good evening, @Mizuhashi😄.
Sanada Rokubun Sen! Dora bought some too: ❣️
I'm so sure that Mizuhashi-san says it must be delicious 😘.
I'm looking forward to drinking it😊♪
Good morning, Tsubu-chan 😃.
I went from Ueda to Chikuma on Sunday but couldn't find it 😭I don't think I saw Yamasan in the first place. I guess we will have to wait for the new sake 😣.
I'm sure you will be satisfied with this sake.
Shinshu Kamerei Miyamanishiki Junmai Ginjo
Rice used: Miyamanishiki produced in Nagano Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 15%.
Yesterday, I walked home for 30 minutes. I wanted to enjoy a good sake 😄.
I opened a bottle of 2024.6 vegetable room aged.
It's stable and tasty and relaxing 😌.
Well, on Saturday, I'm off to Joetsu Takata to participate in the Kenshin Sake Festival. The next day, Sunday, I will return home via Ueda 🚙.
Good morning, @Mizuhashi 😃.
Walking to drink! It's the right thing to do 😄.
I can secure it on Saturday and Sunday, so it's like I could drink Kamerei-san without worry 😁.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 🌞.
I'm trying to follow your example and walk as much as possible. 🐢San was disappointed with the Tateyama so I opened a bottle to compare as well 😃I'll be drinking Masayo-san today.
Kokunishu Tanko Ginjo Tateyama 720m
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol 15-16%.
This is a limited distribution sake from Tateyama Shuzo. It is sold only at a few stores in the prefecture.
Many people of the generation a little older than me only drink sake hot from Tateyama! I wonder if the generation is changing now.
I hear that Tateyama Sake Brewery has not been able to recover their pre-Corona sales. I guess they are trying various things 😔.
I had high expectations for this sake, but it was 😕 mild and light? I don't know where it is going.
I don't know where they are going with this. If they aim to make a sake that is distributed only to special dealers in the future, they should have a special feature, such as specializing in raw sake. At 1,925 yen including tax, I wonder if you can do a good job with the second batch?
Hi @Mizuhashi 🐦.
I thought I've never seen this label before, but it was a limited edition of Tateyama 😳I used to drink it a lot as I thought it was delicious decades ago😊I guess it's tough now with all kinds of delicious sake 💦but I wish you the best of luck!
Good evening, Pon-chan🌇.
Tateyama, you have become a big factory. I wonder how they will be able to show their strength in the future. But maybe I'm the only one who doesn't have the tastes of the people of Toyama Prefecture💦.
Mutual Go. All Star Junmai Ginjo Blend Genshu 720ml
Ingredient rice: Nagano rice
Alcohol content 16%.
I opened a bottle that I purchased with amazake at Hara-san. I chose the blended sake All Star even though I have never had a starter or suppressor. It is rather rich but not heavy.
I would like to try something different next time.
I'd like to try a different one next time.
SHIRAKIKU KARAKUNAI NO SHIRAKIKU Junmai Unfiltered Unrefined Unblended Sake 1,800ml
Rice: 100% Koshihikari produced entirely in Tango
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Alcohol content: 15%.
It arrived in the October hanpukai.
I think this is the first time I have had a bottle of Hakusugi since the Ginshari I had at Yamanoha.
Before opening the bottle, my hand slipped and I dropped it on the floor, but I opened it without difficulty.
What a beautiful taste! It's amazing how Koshihikari can be transformed into such a delicious sake. ‼️
By the way, the hanpukai ended this month.
I'm thinking of continuing it next month 😃.
MIYASAKA BIYAMANNISHIKI direct pumping Shiboritate Junmai Ginjo-Nama-shu 720m
Rice:Miyamanishiki
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 15%.
When we bought Masumi Hiyadoroshi, we found a bottle of 2023.12 nama-zake in the refrigerator of a liquor store 😁We had it at the beginning of this year, and it has a characteristic acidity as it has lost some of its edge. It was matured in a cool store fridge, so it did not have a raw hiney feeling at all.
It was the first day of a consecutive holiday weekend, and before going to Nanao, I dropped by Amehara Beach. As expected, we could not see the Tateyama mountain range, but it was a beautiful autumn day 🌊.
Hello, @Mizuhashi.
The sea, clouds and blue sky are beautiful. ⤴️
I used to have Masumi when I wasn't into sake, but I haven't seen it recently, so I've been thinking about having it for the first time in a while 😊.
Good evening, ma-ki- san 🌇.
I wonder if you were in Gokayama when I was on the Amehara Coast 😉.
Masumi, I also had a classical image of the old days, but since I visited the brewery store Sera Masumi, my image has changed 😆.
@Mizuhashi, I am sorry to be rude again.
I was in Gokayama on this day as you mentioned 🎵.
I guess it is very different from the Masumi I know. I would love to try this sake again 😊.
Kikusui Shuzo Abare Tenryu Nigori Sake 720ml
Rice polishing ratio: 65
Alcohol content: 15-16%.
Wednesday is an early going home day. I walked for about 20 minutes from the office to the liquor store.
I was going to buy a bottle of Tsukiyoshi, but next to it was a sake I had never seen before. Nanshin, and it was 985 yen.
I let it settle in the refrigerator for a day, shook it again, and opened the bottle!
The bottle was opened silently.
Hmmm? Creamy but light! It's good, isn't it? It looks like it would be good on the rocks, but it was empty before I tried it💦.
Hello @Mizuhashi 😃
Walking to the liquor store is a great way to lighten your step 🤗I raised the difference between Toyoka ↔️ Toyoga a while ago 😅Shinshu sake 🍶 has a high level of quality and there are a lot of sake that I still don't know about 😙.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
There are so many 😍When I first stopped by Miyajima-san in Ueda, I almost didn't know there were so many! I was so surprised 🫢.
Abe Green Raku-fu-mai Junmai Ginjo 720ml
Raw material rice: Raku-fu-mai produced in Niigata Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol content 13%.
I don't remember how long this bottle has been in the refrigerator.
I had a feeling that the cork would blow out, so I put a pot stand over it and slowly, suddenly, it was smashed. If I had not cured it, it would have hit the ceiling.
The gas shimmered from the bottle.
The sweet and sour taste makes it hard to believe it's sake. Delicious 😋.
Good morning, @Mizuhashi😃!
Congratulations on your safe opening of Abbe Green ⛳️ 🍾.
I'm jealous that you still have some left!
This one brewed with Rakufu Mai is delicious ☺️ I hope to drink it again this season 😊.
Good morning, Aladdin 😃.
With the screw type, you can adjust the opening and closing, but this is a lid, so it was dangerous ⚠️
I'll try to buy it anyway when I see it.
I hope Aladdin-san can get it safely too 🙏.
SHIRAGAKUSEN Special Junmai Cold Wholesale HIYAOROSHI 720ml
Rice:100% Gohyakumangoku produced in Fukui Prefecture
Rice Polishing Ratio : Koji Rice 55%, Kake Rice 58
Alcohol content : 15
We tried to buy it at a corner shop of Mizumoto in Fukui Station last month because it was delicious, but the shop was sold out. The first izakaya near the station didn't carry it.
When I gave up, I found it 😃.
It was clear and tasty just like the one at the corner shop. However, I was surprised to see that it suddenly opens up when it returns to room temperature.
Well, I guess this is the end of hiyaoroshi for my family 😄.
Good evening, @Mizuhashi-san!
I'm glad you were able to get the "Hiyiyakusen Hiyoshi Oroshi" without incident 😁.
I'm glad you were able to get the "Hakugakusen Hi Hiyahiroshi" 🌛.
Good morning, Gyve 😃.
Yes, for some reason it was at my usual liquor store.
I just looked at their website and it seems they have a variety of seasonal sake 😄.
If you have a chance 🫡.
Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Hiyoroshi 720ml
Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture and Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol content: 15%.
I dropped by Tajiri Sake Brewery on Sunday. I looked to see if they had any dam sake, but the only one left was the silver version. This one seemed to be near the end, so I bought it.
It has a clear taste, a little bit of matured aroma, and is very rich and nice.
My wife also said it is her favorite Masumi in a long time and it is delicious 😋.
The taste and the bottle are very sophisticated 😃.
Kame no Kai Junmai Ginjo Hiyakimotoshizukuri Modernize Terroir Saku-Kiyokawa 720ml
100% Yamae-Nishiki produced in Saku City
Rice polishing ratio: 59
Alcohol content: 16%.
This is not merely fruity, but from the moment it enters the mouth, it has a complex interplay of acidity and sweetness. And the softness increases as it returns to room temperature.
I opened a bottle of Kame-no-Kai, three kinds of autumn sake each day and enjoyed the three different tastes. ✌️
We are also looking forward to the winter sake.
