Yamazan Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki Gowari Gobu Unfiltered Nama-shu 720ml Rice used: 100% Yamadanishiki grown in Hyogo Prefecture Rice polishing ratio: 55 Alcohol content: 15%. We opened the bottle of Yamazan ✖️ Yamadanishiki, which was delivered by Shimizuya in May. It starts with a light and fresh flavor, and the sizzling umami makes you want to drink as much as you want. Since it has been a hot day, we enjoyed it with a glass of soothing water in between 😄.

Rice and Agave Symposium Hanakaze 720ml Ingredients ... Rice (from Akita Prefecture), rice malt (from Akita Prefecture), hops Ingredient rice ... 100% Akita rice Rice polishing ratio ... 90 Alcohol content ... 14%. This is from Mashidaya. A modern sake that is the complete opposite of the classical label. I write the same thing as Mashidaya's comment, but it is true. My wife said the same thing😄. It kind of made me want to visit Oga😃. But it's hot from this morning too 🥵. Let's all keep going until the evening 😀.

Amezure Sugiyama Nagare Omachi Dr.Sugiyama 720ml Rice used: 100% Omachi from Okayama Prefecture Polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 16%. We bought this at Izumiya Naha store, but could not finish it during our stay and took it home. I imagined it would be a little sweeter because it is Omachi, but it was not sweet at all, but rather slightly dry. It was produced in 2025.04. It seems to have been released in the fall last year. Is it a fusion of classical and modern 😉.

Tsukiyoshino Purple Unfiltered Nama-shu - Yamadanishiki brewing - 720ml Raw material rice: Yamadanishiki produced in Nagano Prefecture Rice polishing ratio 59 Alcohol content 16%. It is light and fresh, but the umami flavor sinks in. I am also very interested in the purple version. It is so delicious that I have been drinking too much since Tuesday.

KATSUKOMA Junmai-shu Rice: Gohyakumangoku Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol content 16 Daigo Kanazawa Store (10) Well, it's the last order 😄. But I think there was a bottle of sake left on the table for a while even after the all-you-can-drink was over. All-you-can-drink at Daigo is really fun 😀. I heard we went to karaoke after this, but I don't remember 😰. Thanks to that, I was down all day Saturday 😅.

Silver/Kuro Unfiltered Nama Sake Rice:Matsugawa-mura, Nagano Prefecture, specially cultivated rice "Hitogochi Alcohol content: 15%. We went to Daigo Kanazawa...all-you-can-drink excellent sake course 3,500 yen, 120 minutes. I'm so excited 😆. We started with "Iraka" first. There were 7 of us, so we were told to drink up the magnum bottles already opened. There was also a gold series, but it was impossible to drink as much as we could. No wonder😅.

Nabeshima Special Honjozo Pink Label 1,800ml Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol 15%. I remembered that I had bought the pink label in the winter and stored it in the hallway. It has been in the refrigerator for a while because of the hot weather, and then I opened the bottle. Mellow and slightly sweet. It's cosy and I'd like to stock the blue and pink labels in the hallway when summer is over again 😁.

Mibu Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu 720ml Rice ... 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Mibu-cho Rice polishing ratio ... 55 Alcohol content ... 17%. The second Mashidaya ^ ^. Recently, we have a series of sake from Tochigi😄. Produced by Mashidaya. It is elegant and fruity, but has quite a lot of body. It is said to be a casual sake, but it has a rich taste. I'd like to try some of their other sakes as well 😉.

The first day was hard for some reason😭. But on the second day, it changed to dry and refreshing. Why is that? Well, I'll save the summer moon for a while 😉. Kyokko Summer Shiboritate Unfiltered Nama-shu 720ml Rice used ... Uncommonly good rice for sake brewing produced in Tochigi Prefecture Rice polishing ratio ... 50%. Alcohol content ... 16%. This is Mashidaya's second release! I was able to buy the sake I was looking for in last week's newsletter, so no more weekend trip to Shinshu 😄. It arrived with Sairai's morning coolness. It's delicious, a bit like a refreshed Kabutomushi, if that's the trend. The price is 1,320 yen for a junmai ginjo class of rice that is not equal to the price of the other sake! It is a great value for money sake!

SENKOKU KABUTATSUMI 2025 720ml Ingredient rice...Domaine Sakura Yamadanishiki Alcohol content ... 14% (undiluted) A lot of rhinoceros beetles are flying around this year 😃. They flew into our house too 😃. Over 35℃ on Saturday and Sunday 🥵. It's still June, so we opened the bottle on Sunday. My wife took a sip and said, "Is this it? Is there juice in it? No, no, it's not like that, it tastes like this 😋. In the end, I only had one glass 🤣. Thai mango from Costco for dessert 🥭.

SAIRAI Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu Asaryomi 720ml Rice polishing ratio: 55 Pouring: 16%. It has been a long time since we last tasted this Sairai. The first sip is sweet! I opened the bottle after the Wakanami comparison, so it seemed to be even sweeter than the first sip. Yesterday, on the second day, I felt a light sourness in the sweetness. I heard that it is characterized by the harmony with the ginjo aroma. I see 🧐I don't often smell the aroma when I drink. I can't stand it and just gobble it down 😅. I'll try to enjoy the aroma from now on 😋.
