I've been slow to post, it's been all fall and now I'm posting summer sake with labels that are perfect for the height of the heat 😆😆. Quite refreshing 😆😆. It feels dry with a low sweetness but fruity flavor 😋. It got sweeter as time went on, but still more dry than dry because of the higher alcohol content. Nice for a crisp summer drink👍 Ingredients: Rice (Nagano Prefecture), Rice Koji (Nagano Prefecture) Alcohol content 16%. At the usual liquor store I use when I go back home Unfamiliar labels from unfamiliar breweries... The description on the pop-up said it looked close to my taste, so I chose to try it 🎶. It's a sake from an unfamiliar brewery, isn't it? I asked the staff at the cash register... Nakashimaya's sake is not included in the standard selection, but it's a Concept Worker's Selection, so it came in that slot! ↑There are many ways to get it in, aren't there? 🤔 This is a small brewery, and since last year or so, a young toji? (President?) has been trying to make new sake since last year. (President?) has been trying to make new sake since last year, and this sake seems to be the result of it! That's what I heard. I'm a bit fuzzy on the information, but I'd like to record what I heard anyway 🤣. I would love to visit Shirakawa-go 😂. I had planned a trip to Shirakawa-go with Hida Takayama, but had to abandon it because of the traffic congestion and the possibility of missing the train on the way back 🤣. The nigori is thick and thick 🫠. It's as solid as yogurt lol😆. Most nigori from Kyushu is sweet, but this one is flat and refreshing😍. The soft sourness stands out.
