This is Kaygetsu Nigori.
A Kaygetsu salesman came to the basement Japanese and Western-style sake department during the Niigata Sake Festival held at Abeno Harukas, and we tasted this bottle.
It is served cold.
It has a silky cloudy color.
The nose has green apple, green melon, and pear nuances.
Smooth on the palate,
The aroma of green melon and pear gives it a refreshingly fruity taste, while the taste of lactic acid beverage with a moderate sweetness can be lightly sensed. The bitter taste of nigori gives it a refreshing aftertaste.
It's delicious when well chilled.
This sake is made with CEL24 yeast,
It has the effect of nigori (bitterness).
It is not too sweet and fruity, but has a dry impression.
The ori is strained once, and the fine ori is added in a quantity that does not make it too heavy, making it easy to drink 👍.

I was browsing the shelves of a liquor store, thinking that most sake from Kochi Prefecture are dry, when I happened to pick up a label with the yeast CEL24. I was surprised when I bought it with absolutely no knowledge of sake, but it had a nice sharpness and was a good match with the sweet sake tsumami.
