It has a freshness like green apple and citrus,
Slightly sweet and fresh flavor of rice spreads. Light and easy to drink, recommended as a mid-meal drink.
As the name suggests, the "banana" flavor stands out.
It is not a ripe banana, but a green banana.
Sourness is also noticeable and unique.
For drinkers with a taste for peculiar tastes
Tonight was the first time to drink and it was very good. I found my favorite rice, Yamada Nishiki, in the fridge, and the owner told me that there was no reason not to take me there.
I found my favorite sake rice, Yamada Nishiki, 👀 so there was no reason not to bring it along with me.
I was so excited to find my favorite rice, Yamada Nishiki 👀, that I knew I had to bring it with me.
So I decided to try a different kind...
This year's new sake is fruity 🍌🍓💦.
I didn't realize it was full of acidity 😱.
I said, "No💦this one..." and brought it to you 😋.
When we opened the bottle, it was with a nice and energetic 'pop' sound 😊.
The taste is still a definite ❗️
Sweet and fruity with a clean aftertaste!
I think it's quite difficult to have a clean aftertaste if you don't feel any spiciness...
It's a taste that everyone likes 😋.
I think it's one that even my wife would enjoy. I've been trying to make her smell it too 🤣.
Gifts.
Thank you.
After a light sweetness, a firm umami flavor flows.
Sourness also appeared, giving it a fruity feeling.
In the second half, alcohol and bitterness appeared and it became a little heavy.
Walking in Expo Park with Sake: 🚶♀️
It's been a while... a few weeks, but I went walking to the Expo Park again today 😀 I brought my own sake today, FRAISE by Hyakushun... it's French for strawberry.
The sake I brought with me today was FRAISE by Hyakushun...strawberry in French...and as the saying goes, it was fruity, sweet and delicious, perfect for sake to drink on the way to the park 😇.
The alcohol content was 13 degrees, the sake level was ~20, and the acidity was 3.2, just like the specs 😇.
However, with my poor taste buds, it tasted more like an apple than a strawberry 🤣.
I had a chance to meet the young president of Hyakushun at the recent Kokusyu Sake Fair and we had a chance to talk and take a picture together.
When I visited Hata Sake Brewery after that, I told the owner about it and he told me that he had dropped by Hata Sake Brewery the day after the Kokusyu Sake Fair 😀.
He said he had heard Hata's name at the National Sake Fair and said he had not seen him for a long time so he wanted to say hello 😀.
I was a little happy to see that we connected the sake brewery and the liquor store in an unexpected way 😇.
Good evening, Mr. Yasube.
The Gifu booth was mostly filled with sake by the young president of Hyakushun😊I told him I wanted to drink some sake that wasn't at last year's Gifu sake event and he helped me find some 😁.
Hi bouken 😀
The Kokunishu Fair was a wonderful place where several breweries were able to show us around their other sake breweries 😇.
I also had the opportunity to taste some other Gifu sake recommended by the young president of Hyakushun 😇.
On Monday, we opened our first bottle of this series... another first for us!
Hyakushun" 🍶.
This is the brand recommended by the owner of the liquor store when I asked him for a fruity sake. I had never heard of it or seen it before, so I took a bit of a gamble and went with him...
This ❗️ is fruity and sweet at first, but it's not heavy 😋 because the aftertaste disappears quickly and nicely.
It's a gulpable type ⤴️
I drank it all by myself and emptied the bottle in no time 😅.
Even though it was a WEEKDAY💦.
It's going to be a bad start to the week🤣.
Hi Baum 🐦.
I haven't tried the sake that was previously recommended to me as one of Gifu's easier to drink 💦Gubi Gubi type of sake 😆 Sounds good 😆 I would love to go to ❣️ I haven't been to Hata-san for a while 😊.
Good morning, Mr. Baum 😃.
I'm pretty sure the liquor store owner recommends it 🤗.
I've never had Mr. Baum's 🥲 but I'm curious about the low-alcohol gubbins this time of year 😙.
Good morning, Pon-chan 😊This was my first time at the liquor store and you have a moderately elite group 😍I would like to visit you to bring the elites that I could not bring this time 🚲Mr. Hyakushun, please try to bring them to me 🥰.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😊The general everywhere recommends ❗️ for sure 😋.
When it's hot, I'm craving a low alcohol guzzler 😅.
I always end up drinking too much though 🤣.
National Sake Fair 2025 Day 2㉖
Gifu ②
After drinking sake from the Niki Sake Brewery, we were told that the brewer of Hyakushun was here! So we decided to drink Hyakushun.
Kosaka Sake Brewery in Mino City
You don't know our sake, do you? So I told them that they had come to an event in Gifu last year, and they seemed a little pleased to hear that!
Polishing ratio 60%, Gohyakumangoku 14.8 degrees, Sake degree +6, Acidity 1.3
1430 yen
Rare local sake that is not found at dealers.
I was told that it is a less sweet type of Hyakuharu, but it is fruity, refreshing, and a little dry.
I didn't think the sake degree of +6 was that high.
There are many types of Hyakushun that I like, but I don't buy them because they are not sold near me 🤔.
After this, I told the brewer that I wanted to drink sake from a brewery that didn't show up at last year's Gifu Sake Event, so I asked the Hyakuharu brewer to introduce me to a variety of sakes.
Hundred springs for the first time. The origin of the name is to bring a hundred springs to the drinker. Lovely.
It is delicious! The sweetness fills your mouth and makes you happy. It is rich and satisfying, but the drink goes on and on.
It's a dangerous drink that disappears before you know it 👍I drank it all up deliciously! Thank you for the drink!
