The unique richness of the finished product, aged at room temperature, is transformed into an elegant flavor, making it a sake to be enjoyed and sipped little by little.
The accompaniment is Tsukasa Gyoza (dumplings)
The label has a very strong impact. I wanted to drink sake from this brewery, so I bought it immediately. Kanenaka gives the impression of being super classic, but Nakashimaya is a bit different.
The aroma is quite modern, with a hint of apples, not strong but present.
When you include it, you get an apple or sudachi-like sweetness with quite a bit of sourness, a bit thicker than lemon. Although it calls itself Petit Petit Kotobuki, it is only fire-roasted and has a slight gaseous taste. The bitterness and sourness make it go down rather quickly.
At room temperature, it is not so different, but the gassiness is a little less and the bitterness is stronger.
It is a modern sake with a good balance of sweet, sour, and bitter tastes, which makes it a good choice during meals.
Let me talk about something that isn't alcohol first! (speaking quickly)
The manga "I'll Isle" by Mr. Hiroyuki Asada is a bible-like work because I read it during my adolescent years in high school. It is a manga celebrating the youth of high school basketball players, so please everyone read it (advertisement)!
One of Mr. Asada's works is called "Sleepy Hare Mint". It is not "Two Rabbits," but "Sleepy Rabbit. In this work, there are many poems by Nakaya Nakahara, and Mr. Asada is a fan of Nakaya.
In Yamaguchi Prefecture, where Nakaya Nakahara was born, the Nakaya Memorial Hall celebrated its 30th anniversary, and Nakashimaya Sake Brewery in Yamaguchi made a sake to commemorate the anniversary. Now, let me start talking about sake!
The label of the commemorative sake is a collaboration product using Mr. Asada's illustration!
Come on, let's all buy it!
Oh, the taste? Shut up, let's buy it! LOL!
I bought three bottles!
I thought it would be the usual dry, common kind, but it has a surprisingly interesting sweetness and roundness to it. It probably tastes best at room temperature, and if you drink it cold, this roundness and sweetness disappears, so it's a bit tasteless.
Why the chomage label? I was curious enough to pick it up 🤭CWS.
It has a chili texture and a sweet aroma reminiscent of a young melon drop. It is a modern medium-bodied, full-bodied wine, with a soft alu-feeling that appears as it falls down the throat, with a nice clean finish.
For lunch, I was attracted by the pop-up "Sano Ramen fell in love with back fat (❤️)" and tried the [Tomojirou] limited menu 😋 coupon for a boiled egg service ❕.
Hello Kotori ^_^
That's a label I'm interested in ✨
I looked up ramen🍜.
It's a Jiro style by Menden Tomo in Utsunomiya 😊.
I'm curious about the back fat in Sano ramen.
But I've never had Sano ramen 😁.
Hi Kotori😃
Sano ramen is a green bamboo handmade noodle 🤤I would like to try ‼️ I'm also interested in the sake as I have never seen this brand before😃.
Hi Manta 🐥.
You guessed right 🤭The standard hand-hammered green bamboo frizzy noodles are very soft and chewy in the mouth integrated with the soup, so [Tomojirou] is an irregular ❤️ noodles are also thick and chewy ⤴️ & back fat ⤴️😋😋 full!
Hello, Mr. Menshuoh 🐥!
I was hungry, so I wanted to enjoy both the chunky, highly watered noodles and the Jiro-style noodles 💯, so I decided to try this one 😋😋 Ramen is also fun because of the local characteristics and the variety of restaurants 🤭🍜.
Hi Hiro 🐥.
CWS has a lot of casual flavors and tends to catch my attention 😉 Is the guy on the label a salt face or a vinegar face? I'm not sure if he has a salt face or a vinegar face 🤭The recent trend of local ramen is very strong with the trend to reorganize + rearrange ❕ just like the old days 😆 😆.
Hi T.KISO 🐥.
Chomage-sama has too much impact 🤣Why this design? 🤔
The ramen was very generous, but the egg served with it was a large size 🤣I wish I could have taken a picture with the chopsticks up 📸!
I bought this when I visited Shunan City in late October.
While talking with the manager of the liquor store, I was wondering which one I should buy, and he told me that Nakajimaya was delicious. I bought a Junmai Daiginjo because it was a good opportunity.
The rice used for the sake was Yamadanishiki.
Polishing ratio 45%.
The aroma was fresh and sweet, and as I drank it, I could taste the acidity in the sweetness, and the chirichiri-gas feeling was added and switched to a moderate bitterness.
It was a sake with a taste that is typical of the modern kingdom of Yamaguchi.
It was so good that it was recommended to me.
The accompaniments were grilled codfish with foil and potato butter.
☀️
Sake rice is Omachi🌾.
Reading the endorsement, it looks like Kumamoto yeast 🧐.
Sweetness and umami. The sweetness is reminiscent of melon🍈.
The way the sweetness is rounded out is excellent👍.
You can also enjoy the ginjo aroma 🤗.
The sake was better than expected 😊.
This is the first time I have had Nakashimaya's sake. This sake is brewed by a sake brewery with a history of over 200 years. According to the sake brewer, they are shifting from traditional sake to a somewhat modern flavor.
The aroma is sweet and fruity like ripe red melon, grapes, or honey apple, but not too strong, and the overall flavor is rich and mellow, with a good amount of sweetness, beautiful acidity, umami, and bitterness. It was well-balanced, juicy, and quite my favorite sake. The sake rice seems to be Omachi, and I realized once again that I prefer sake brewed with Omachi 😁 It has a strong flavor, so it would go well with strong flavored dishes. Thank you very much!
