It is a Junmai Daiginjo made from 100% Yamadanishiki.
The initial aroma is pleasant, reminiscent of bananas.
After enjoying the aroma for a while and gently taking it into the mouth, the banana aroma and sweetness fill the mouth with a slight chirichiri sensation.
The rich, mellow flavor is enjoyed until the finish.
Thank you very much.
Purchased at a liquor store in Shimonoseki
Found while sightseeing in Moji/Shimonoseki on Coming-of-Age Day!
Chose Nakashimaya's Yamaguchi limited edition sake, which is often seen in Fukuoka
Cold sake!
Muscat-like aroma!
Slightly gassy and acidic.
Lightly cloudy with a moderate volume from the mid-palate.
The astringent aftertaste is impressive.
Good evening, Kyuzo-san!
I crossed the Kanmon Straits! We also made a short stop at Akama Shrine 😊.
It was my first visit to Shimonoseki and it was a great place to feel the history 😆.
The rice has a great crumbly texture and is very creamy and delicious 😋.
It was a bit of a shock to me because it was different from any nigori sake I've ever had lol.
It's a nigori sake that I want to repeat 😆.
Bottom of the bottle.
Lightly as shown.
Not much aroma.
When you take a sip, you get a mouthful of juicy apples and pears.
Fresh with a strong acidity.
The mouthfeel is slightly mineral, with a slight tingling gas feeling.
The second half is crispy, bitter, and hard.
A good match with the sake lees-enhanced slices.
Taste level 3.5/5
The freshness of the freshly pressed sake and the fermentation-derived gases are refreshing, and the taste is dry and refreshing down the throat.
The accompaniment is Tsukasa gyoza (dumplings)
The unique richness of the finished product, aged at room temperature, is transformed into an elegant flavor, making it a sake to be enjoyed and sipped little by little.

The label has a very strong impact. I wanted to drink sake from this brewery, so I bought it immediately. Kanenaka gives the impression of being super classic, but Nakashimaya is a bit different.
The aroma is quite modern, with a hint of apples, not strong but present.
When you include it, you get an apple or sudachi-like sweetness with quite a bit of sourness, a bit thicker than lemon. Although it calls itself Petit Petit Kotobuki, it is only fire-roasted and has a slight gaseous taste. The bitterness and sourness make it go down rather quickly.
At room temperature, it is not so different, but the gassiness is a little less and the bitterness is stronger.
It is a modern sake with a good balance of sweet, sour, and bitter tastes, which makes it a good choice during meals.
Let me talk about something that isn't alcohol first! (speaking quickly)
The manga "I'll Isle" by Mr. Hiroyuki Asada is a bible-like work because I read it during my adolescent years in high school. It is a manga celebrating the youth of high school basketball players, so please everyone read it (advertisement)!
One of Mr. Asada's works is called "Sleepy Hare Mint". It is not "Two Rabbits," but "Sleepy Rabbit. In this work, there are many poems by Nakaya Nakahara, and Mr. Asada is a fan of Nakaya.
In Yamaguchi Prefecture, where Nakaya Nakahara was born, the Nakaya Memorial Hall celebrated its 30th anniversary, and Nakashimaya Sake Brewery in Yamaguchi made a sake to commemorate the anniversary. Now, let me start talking about sake!
The label of the commemorative sake is a collaboration product using Mr. Asada's illustration!
Come on, let's all buy it!
Oh, the taste? Shut up, let's buy it! LOL!
I bought three bottles!
I thought it would be the usual dry, common kind, but it has a surprisingly interesting sweetness and roundness to it. It probably tastes best at room temperature, and if you drink it cold, this roundness and sweetness disappears, so it's a bit tasteless.
