We're at the Sake Fair today! I was too excited with all the rare sake 😍. 40 cups of sake tasting gave me a lot of energy! It was so good! I'm at my limit, but since I came all the way to Yurakucho, I'm going to drink again and go home. I'm back to brewing again this time! It has a sweet and sour taste like Miyamanishiki, with a full flavor of rice!

I got tickets to the National Sake Fair at the Tokyo International Forum this Saturday and would like to go 😀. Anyone else going? It's my first time going so I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like😊. More brewing today! Kaze no Mori Alpha1: the door to the next chapter I had the same Alpha1 last year, Summer Night Sky, and it's different! The same low alcohol and great acidity tanginess, the Summer Night Sky was apple-like, but the Door to the Next Chapter had a pineapple-like aroma! It was refreshing and had a mild aftertaste 😆👍

Sorry to hear about your foot 🙇♂️. It still hurts when I stretch it out, but I'm glad I can work and drive normally 😌. I'll be continuing today. I asked for Yoshidagurau, but only a few drops were available, so can I have Tedorigawa? and I can drink the one that is not open first, so of course OK 😆👍, I replied! I wondered if Tedorigawa was also known as Hotarugawa, but they said the small river that runs next to the brewery is Hotarugawa! I'm just going to go with what it says on the label, but you can feel the freshness and acidity first ✨ because it's a once-fired brew. It's a dry wine with a lot of alcohol and sharpness. I could imagine fireflies and summer with my eyes 🌙 But the picture is blurry as usual 😣.

My twisted ankle is feeling much better lol. But I'm going to stay quiet today 🥲. Well, here is the continuation of the series of what I drank at the brewery! Speaking of bonito tataki, Kochi is the place to go for bonito tataki, so I chose Kochi sake as well👆. It has a lactic acidic aroma and a mild mouthfeel, but it's dry and sharp! I interpreted it as "Zanshin" because it's so sharp that you can't even tell it's dry. It went well with bonito tataki sudachi ponzu and coarse grated daikon 😆👍

Yesterday was a week's reward for drinking at the brewery 😁. First glass was Koshi apple! Gotta love the apple-like aroma, sourness and sweetness! So easy to drink you'd think it was low al 😊. It's refreshing and a great first drink 😋. I twisted my leg on the stairs on the way home and it's swollen so I'm going to spend the day sleeping lol

I bought a set of 5 bottles of sake from Gonoi Sake Shop in Fukushima, which are rarely available outside of the prefecture, so I will gradually open them 😀. The first bottle is Bandaiho. Shirai Sake Brewery is better known for their Kaze ga Kowaru brand! But! Bandaiho won a gold medal at this year's national sake competition👍. It has a white peach-like aroma with a slight sweetness and a gentle aftertaste☺. Set of 5 bottles, the first bottle is a winner 🎯. Yum 😋.

I'm thinking that's why I'm single, but I had a nice drink at night 🍶. I feel like it's a good holiday 😊. Today I'm having a violet dewy blizzard of glorious Fuji! The name and the jackets are cool 😎😎😎😎. So much pizzazz and freshness from the sweet ginjo aroma! I like the sweetness but with a punch 😆. Today's snack is pork marinated in miso 🐷. Good with the fatty parts 😆👍

I went out for this last week 👀. The Youth Series is a gem that only about 5 liquor stores in the whole country carry 😊. So crisp and sharp with a refreshing acidity and mouthfeel! I really wanted to pair it with sashimi, but I went late in the day and they were sold out💦. I also enjoyed this with magochi tempura 🐟.

Yesterday I drank with some acquaintances 🍶 of the Jizin I was able to buy last week. I drank Junmai Ginjo before, and it is as good as the Junmai Ginjo, with a good balance of acidity and umami 😋. It went very well with magochi tempura 🐟.

The day before yesterday, at a welcome and send-off party at work, a senior brought in a bottle of this stuff! I work at a welfare facility, so there were a lot of people attending, and we couldn't drink outside, so we drank inside the facility 🍻. I thought Kiku-Masamune was light and dry, but it was mild and easy to drink without any harshness on the palate 😀. The bottle was empty in no time lol

For some reason, Akita's Kikusui was on the list of brands, but Nagano's Kikusui was not 🤔. I also went to Kaze no Shokudo the day after I went to brew 😁. GW drank too much💦. Posting this now after all this time! The day before we had bamboo shoot tempura, and the next day we had bamboo shoot stew ▲! I learned that junmai sake goes well with it, so I chose Kikusui's Haru/Hitohira! Yes, you guessed correctly🙆♀️! The synergy of the deliciousness of rice, bamboo shoots and dashi is the best 👍✨.

I drank a bottle of Akabu's Yamada Nishiki today 😀. It was not freshly opened, but a friend of mine came to stay over the other night and drank half of it first lol! Even though it was already open, the sweetness and acidity spread out and it was delicious 😋. I can feel the deliciousness of Yamada Nishiki including a little bitterness at the end 💫✨.

First check-in in Hokkaido🐮🍦🍜. I asked what would go well with bamboo shoot tempura. I asked him what would go well with bamboo shoot tempura, and he introduced me to about 7 different kinds, and after much deliberation, I chose Kamikawa Taisetsu, which I had never had before! It has a rich rice flavor and sharpness that goes well with the flavor and bitterness of the bamboo shoots 😁. I thought junmai sake would go well with the bamboo shoots, but the sweetness of junmai sake would be too much for the bamboo shoots, so I thought it was the right choice! I learned a lot 😀.

I forgot to post this because I was at work yesterday and I was tired and slept 💦. (I didn't drink yesterday, so that's ok) I wanted to drink this one 😀. Miyazumi's Kijoshu! I love junmai daiginjo kijoshu❤ The aroma is sweet and when you drink it, the sweet and sour taste fills your mouth! It has a thick mouthfeel and feels like a typical kijoshu 😊.
