Aozora Junmai Namaishu Oragami Miyamanishiki
April 12, 2025
Kagoya Shimotakaido
3960 yen
We had a good impression of Aozora when we drank it in Osaka the year before last. There are only a few liquor stores in Tokyo that carry this sake.
I was worried about it last week and did not buy it, but I was glad to see it was still on sale. I bought it right away. The sweetness was impressive in Osaka, but this one was dry and carbonated. The sweet and sour taste spreads, and although there is some sweetness, it is delicious with a sour and bitter grapefruit-like aftertaste.
First local drinking this year
I received a line from the store, so I visited them after a long time.
First of all, I went to Aozora, which was recommended by the owner.
Sweet and juicy with a slight bitterness at the end!
I think it is one of my favorite Aozora I have ever had!
I've had it in the past 🤣.
The one that uses Yamadaho.
I was told it doesn't look like Souzora. Is it? I don't know. I don't drink much, so I don't know. w
A little bitter at the end but sharp?
Melon?
11/20
Soft and gentle
Elegant and balanced
First glass: enjoy chilled for a refreshing taste.
The second cup should be warmed up to human body temperature to enjoy its umami.
I don't have a picture, but it is a Kyoto sake🍶.
It is junmai sake, so it has a sweet taste.
I think it is the sweetest I have had today.
I'm getting drunker and drunker.
☀️
Slightly sweet, with rice flavor🌾 at the center.
The sweetness is weaker than that of Aozora, which I drank before, but I thought it was unique to Aozora because of the moist feeling when you drink it 🤗.
Polishing ratio 60
100% Miyamanishiki
Alcohol content 15%.
Refreshing, but with a strong umami flavor.
Sweetness at first, then a little acidity.
This is the first Miyamanishiki sake I have tasted.
The sake lees is also delicious, like cream cheese!
