Drinking with my wife on our wedding anniversary last week, when we visited Tsushima Tsuru at the Metropolitan Morioka New Wing (laughs). Next up was a Hiyoroshi (Hiyori) Junmai Harazake by Drunken Sen. It's a refreshingly dry sake. The description says to enjoy the mellow flavor, but that's just my personal opinion... (^_^;) Good with sashimi! It was delicious! (^○^)

I tried three types of draft sake at a tasting and sale of Drunken Sen in Hankyu. I couldn't find a picture of the first one I drank, the Honjozo Nama, even though I searched for it. I couldn't find a picture of the first one I drank, but I guess it was because it wasn't winter time and there was no snow. I was told that this was a matured nama sake. It was delicious, with a beautiful, round taste. I had a hard time deciding which one to buy, but the last one I tasted was a fruity special junmai, so I went for that one.

Tasted and purchased at Umeda Hankyu. Sake from the Drunken Sake Brewery. It seems to be a terroir-like sake. It is delicious with a little bit of gasiness and both fruity and rice flavor. Once the gas disappears, the fruity taste disappears and the umami flavor takes center stage. I don't feel much spiciness. I wasn't sure whether to register it as Tagata, but the cap was Drunken Sen, so I registered it as Drunken Sen.

It has a nice fruity apple flavor that I was told about. The taste is sweet to umami, very weak to bitter. It is a refreshing sake. Shiromayumi is a sake with strong umami. I was surprised to find such a light sake. But it is 15 degrees. It is a light sweet sake.

@sakebar Fukuzo This sake is from the same Kobayashi Shuzo Honten as the "Hakata no Mori" I posted a while ago. Mandai must be more famous locally 🤔. It will be pressed on the morning of Risshun 🍶. The aroma on the nose is fruity🍍 and sweet. When you take it into your mouth, it has a deep, mild sweetness and umami that is typical for a draft sake, and it finishes with a slight astringent taste. It was delicious 🍶✨.

There are so many small bottles in the supermarket, I can't choose which one I like best 😳. Looks slightly yellow Is it solid? It was so rich and clean.... Oh my goodness, it's so rich and sharp 🤩. It's so good! The sake I quickly picked up was a winner 🎯. I'm so happy😊. I also saw the dry review... I'm not sure if it's a little spicy when the temperature rises.... I think it's about the same. Tenryo, which I ordered at a meal on my trip. It was a freshly brewed and stored Honjozo brewed with Hidahomare. I usually don't drink Hidahomare, Honjozo, or Nama-Seizou, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to drink it. The color was crystal with a slight yellow tinge. The aroma is quite mild, with mineral and earthy notes. When you drink it, it has a slightly fruity overtone. Next comes a sense of minerality and a hint of sweetness. There is also a slight white ball-like feeling. The acidity is smart and not too assertive. Bitterness appears a little at the end. The lingering aftertaste is pale and slowly fades away with the bitterness. As is typical of honjozo, it has the sake-like flavor that is generally imagined by those who do not normally drink sake, but it is a food sake with a fruity character that is typical of freshly stored sake. It's meant to be served at ryokans, as it goes perfectly with fish, vegetables, and other Japanese dishes! I've been drinking a lot of sake that can be drunk on its own, so I'm very satisfied with my first "food sake" in a long time! It may not be a hit with those who only accept easy-to-understand sake, but for those who like dry sake, or those who want to enjoy a marriage between sake and food, or to complement food, this is a naturally delicious sake.

A modern sake brewed by Aoki Shuzo, famous for Tsururei. It is completely different from the cup of sake Yukio that I drank before. I used to be a big fan of cold sake, but now the allure of room temperature sake is irresistible😍. I have always liked Takumi, but I thought it had a slightly off-flavored aroma...more like a smell.
