I begged for sake under my wife's jurisdiction at the New Year's party and received a bottle of Sotogahama.
It was brewed by a young master brewer at Nishida Sake Brewery, and it was more refreshing than Tasake. It has been a while since I had Sotogahama, so I don't remember what it tasted like the last time I had it, but I can tell you that it is perfectly made and delicious.
Thank you for the sake!

Following the monochrome, here's a drinking comparison... ♪
A little lighter than the Monochrome?
Instead, it has more sweetness and juiciness?
I can feel the "Tasyu" character in each of them.
It is a junmai ginjo-shu made from 50% polished "Hanabukiyuki," Aomori Prefecture's preferred rice for sake brewing.
Haikara" is a 30's sake, a low alcohol sake in the 13%'s.
It is a sake brewed from scratch by brewers in their 30's with no direction from the toji, but with their own ingenuity based on their own experience.

(Here are my impressions from my stupid tongue)
Brilliantly fruity
From the moment you drink it, you can feel the juice, and it goes down your throat smooth and easy to drink.
It is very fruity and easy to drink 😋.

Tasake" by Nishida Sake Brewery in Aomori
Brewed by a young brewer
We welcome you with Haikara and compare
Dark yet sharp, full-bodied with a lingering aftertaste
Complexly intertwined sweetness and acidity
My father says, "This is a bottle that you drink too much...".
Sotogahama
Nishida
Modern taste and delicious.
I like Nishida-san, who is well known for his Tasake, because he is willing to try new techniques.
This black-and-white picture shows a young brewer in his "20s" who is entrusted with the entire production process. This is a sake made by young brewers, who make sake by their own ingenuity without any instructions from the toji (master brewer).
The name "Sotogahama" comes from a place called "Sotogahama" on the east coast of the Tsugaru Peninsula.

Let's try a different version of this sake 🍶.
Sotogahama Junmai Ginjo Haikara
The same mellow melon-like aroma, melon-like sweetness and umami, mellow lingering taste and slight bitterness.
Similar flavor profile, but if you compare Monochrome and Haikara, Haikara has slightly stronger acidity and bitterness 🤔.
And the fourth one I was told to drink because it's interesting.
I didn't know about this one, but it is a whiskey produced by Nishi Shuzo, which brews Tenpyo and Tominohozan shochu.
I had it on the rocks, but it's quite light in body, so I think it would be drunk with a highball!
[Nishi Shuzo is doing a lot of different things. ✨️
This concludes my post on the shima & sake & coffee event 🔚.
The number of "Sentori" posts went up at once 🤣.
Good evening, Tsuyodai-san 🌛.
I was so curious about this sake that when I saw it in the cellar, I drank some more 🤣.
[I see that Nishida Sake Brewery is also growing young 🥰.

After the shocking "Sentori Snowman 2025" was opened, the customer next to me and I ordered and compared the sake we were really interested in, which had been sitting in the cellar before the event 🥰.
Sotogahama Junmai Ginjo Monochrome.
The aroma was like a mellow melon, the taste was sweet and umami, and the finish was mellow and lingering.
I looked at the back of the bottle and saw that this is from the Tasake brewery 😲 I didn't know that. ✨️
