Good evening! From the past history, I'll upload the sakes I drank at #Ginura Sake Bar. This time, it's "Senshin". This sake is made by Asahi Shuzo in Niigata Prefecture. It is 5 years old, but it tastes so beautiful that I felt it was boring for the price. I don't know how I would feel if I drank it now. I would like to drink it again at Gin Kura. (^O^)

Kubota Kenshin Junmai Daiginjo 2021BY✨ I'm opening a bottle to feel a traditional sake for the first time in a while: ☺️ The rice used is 100% Takananishiki, and the polishing ratio is higher than that of Manju, which is a high-end line. The aroma is of the light, dry Niigata sake of yesteryear, but with a hint of matured sweet grain 😊The taste is a perfect complement to Japanese food as a mid-meal sake, with a sharp aftertaste, but with a soft, full-bodied rice sweetness that is delicious in its own right 🤤.

Sake brought back from our trip to Niigata Sake recommended by the lady who was selling it. Very gassy 💨 Sake with a strong moromi Dry and crisp 💪. It's a nigori sake, but you can drink it with gusto as a food sake 🎵.

For my fourth cup, I decided on the "Koshihikari" which caught my attention! The palate is clean and refreshing, but as you taste it, it mellows out a bit with a banana feel. The acidity tightens it up so that it does not interfere with the taste, so it is well-balanced and easy to drink👍.

Enjoy cheap sushi at Totoro, a popular standing sushi bar under the elevated railway tracks of Himeji Station. Although it is a stand-up style sushi bar, there is always a long line of customers because of the high quality of the food. Since I was there, I asked for a local sake, Yaegaki. It was not sweet, but it was not dry either. It was about medium spicy. I am not talking about curry. I had it cold, but I feel it is all-around good at room temperature or hot. It's great for a kotteri type of stuff.

Here's the last GW drink we had It was a sake brewery I knew nothing about. This sake was sold as a summer draft sake by the Japan Meimon Shukai. It seems it was the first sake from this year to be released as a Meimon Sake Kai sake. Miyamanishiki from Akita Prefecture, Sake meter value +3, No. 9 yeast Citrusy aroma. The impression is that it is quite sweet and has a rich umami flavor, making it very drinkable. It is not a modern type of sake, but it is quite drinkable. A little acidic? It's hard to drink by itself... It's hard to drink if you don't drink it while eating.
