Rooster Yoemon from Kawamura Sake Brewery in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. This sake is famous for its sour taste, which is rare in Iwate Prefecture. I drank it for the first time at a store in Hanamaki and was surprised by the sourness. It seemed to be quite a challenge since Iwate is generally known for its sweet and tasty sake. Even so, I heard that the owner stubbornly continued to make sour sake. (^○^) Nowadays, with the Shinsai boom, Yoemon's sour sake is also selling well, especially outside of the prefecture. My parents-in-law gave me this sake as a souvenir from Tanba Sasayama. It's a completely unknown brand, so I was very nervous when I opened the bottle. Maybe it's because we've been drinking a lot of autumn sake lately, but it's surprisingly refreshing 😳 You can drink it easily without getting stuck. It has a faint sourness and a spiciness that comes afterwards, and then it goes away quickly. It's a sake made with clean water that goes well with all kinds of food. We enjoyed it with pork kimchi and horse mackerel sashimi. I want to drink it carefully, but it will probably be gone in two days☺️.

Rice used is Dewa Sanzan As indicated by the alcohol content of 19 degrees, it is a gut-punching wine. ‼️ And it has the same throat and mouthfeel as you would expect from Muroka Nama-no-Hara Sake. The sweetness also comes through perfectly. It has a great impact, but it is sharp and has a clean finish, so it does not feel too heavy. Purchased at the new "Haneda Airport Garden" at Haneda Airport, an antenna store for the Yamakoshi area in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture. The rice used is "Gohyakumangoku" produced in Niigata Prefecture. In short, it is a rich and full-flavored Junmai-shu. It has a classical taste and looks good when heated! [Fukui Spring New Sake Festival (9) The event was coming to an end with a series of sake from Ishikawa. We decided to try something a little different and had a drink here 🍶. Hayaseura Special Junmai Sake "Umi-no-Otoko This is an old sake that has been stored in the brewery for 3 years and was served warmed 😁. The aroma of rice flavor, the gentle texture on the tongue, the impact of the flavor at the back of the throat, the warm aftertaste of heated sake, and the bitter taste at the back of the throat at the end........ It is a "man of the sea" respecting fishermen who work at sea, and I feel that it is strongly made to go well with local fatty seafood and salty preserved food 😋. The entrée sold out unexpectedly quickly, so I emptied it before I could check its true value💦.
