Rooster Yoemon from Kawamura Sake Brewery in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. This sake is famous for its sour taste, which is rare in Iwate Prefecture. I drank it for the first time at a store in Hanamaki and was surprised by the sourness. It seemed to be quite a challenge since Iwate is generally known for its sweet and tasty sake. We had it at the famous standing bar, Hatenara-san, in the New Shinbashi Building. The sashimi was delicious, so I am including it here as well.

Last sake I bought last year as a Kumamoto souvenir. If I have a chance to visit Kumamoto again, I would like to visit Aso and Kikuchi area 😌. When opened and poured, it has a sweet aroma like sugar and sugarcane. The mouthfeel is crisp and immediately afterwards has the plumpness of rice plus the sweet and spicy taste of brewer's alcohol. The flavor is stable from start to finish, with a delicious standard taste! The unadorned taste is a perfect accompaniment to a meal 👍. It is a versatile sake that also makes it delicious! I once thought that Kichiemon Nakamura was a great sake because my brother is a Kabuki fanatic, and this sake may have the same weight. If it's a regular sake, I imagine it would be a Junmai sake, and it would be a very bad one at that! I would definitely like to try the junmai sake! Mr. Ota is in Shinjuku! Mr. Ota went to a sake bar in Shinjuku, where the sake was delicious, and to Robeliya, a very deep bar in Shinjuku's Golden Gai. A 30-minute broadcast in two bars is too short!
