Oki Homare Muromachi Junmai Sake 90
Tasting
'A reproduction of a sake from the late Muromachi period.
Super sweet and amber in color.
Reminiscent of Shaoxing sake and ice wine.
Reminiscent of Shaoxing wine, ice wine and dried fruit. The tasting was a success.
It really is like this 😆.
Even though it's not aged.
This sense of maturity 😎www
Hmmm... a strange drink 🧐.
I wonder if it's made with brown rice because it's Muromachi 🤔
Rice used is Oki Kami-no-Mai
Kaminomai is a cross between Gohyakumangoku and Miyamanishiki.
It seems to be grown only in Shimane Prefecture.
This sake is said to be a reproduction of a late Edo period to early Meiji period sake
It has an impact, but the mouthfeel is surprisingly soft.
It is dry and crisp.
The umami of the rice is directly conveyed.
I like this one. ❣️
I had the impression that Oki Honor was tough, but it was great and easy to drink! It had just the right amount of sake, and was good even for a beginner like me!
I received it as a souvenir from the Oki Islands.
I was happy because it is a sake I don't often encounter.
It has a classic alcohol smell. It seems to be this brand when it comes to sake, since shochu is mainly drunk locally.
It is clean, dry, and leaves a grain aroma, but it is perfect as a food sake, either cold or lukewarm.
