I've wanted to try Manotsuru for a long time. The rice is Gohyakumangoku. It has a gentle mouthfeel and a gorgeous apple-like ginjo aroma. The taste is mature and sweet. The taste is sharp and disappears quickly. I've drunk all of the breweries on Sado Island, but I don't remember the taste of Kitayuki, so I'd like to try it again.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea I'm not sure if it's a good price I'm a first year working man and I'm broke so I got a small bottle... 🤣 The sake is dry and crisp with a nice flavor. The Daiginjo is easy to drink despite its firmness. It's delicious!

I bought it at the Kasumi Sosa store of the supermarket. To put it bluntly, it is a label purchase (laugh). Opened at room temperature, taste is so-called "umakuchi dry"? It seems to emphasize the sake-like quality more than the light dry sake. It is supposed to be junmai sake, but it seemed to have the atmosphere of a honjozo sake that contains brewing alcohol. I went on a one-day trip to a hot spring in Wakayama. Since I was there, I had a drink at an izakaya (Japanese style bar) near the station. The bonito in Wakayama is delicious! Mochi bonito in early spring is also good, but the fat from the returning bonito goes well with sake. Taiheiyo is a big-boned sake that goes well with heated sake. The Yamahai was wonderful. I think it's been a while since I've had a Yamahai. It's good to go out for a drink once in a while.
