Quite sweet! Maybe it would have tasted better if I drank it when it was a little colder... Maybe it's because it's getting hotter and I want something refreshing to drink.
It's so refreshing and easy to drink....
I thought it would be sweeter, but it was more refreshing than I expected, with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, making it easy to pair with rice. I had it with broccoli, chives, and udo (udo is a Japanese radish), and it was a perfect match. I'm looking forward to seeing how the flavor will change after a few days.
I bought it because I wanted to drink a non-sweet sake. It is not sweet, but it is mild on the palate and not too spicy. The aftertaste is not too clean, but leaves a nice aftertaste of umami. It goes well with chikuwa (dried chikuwa) and silken tofu with sushi vinegar!
