I've always been curious about it because I often see it at Takashimaya, but this is my first time to drink it. The rice is Asahi rice and Yamadanishiki. It is fresh and has a strong sweet flavor, but the aroma and taste are a bit unique. I also feel a bit of hardness. I'll give it some more time and see how it goes. Apple and honey-like sweetness with a sense of thickening.

Last weekend I was out of sake to go with oden, so I went to the local supermarket and bought a 300㎖ bottle for the sake. It has a sweet and refreshing taste. It's good at hiya, but it tastes even better when it's warmed up to human skin temperature to increase the sweetness. However, I thought it would be too clean to pair with oden. I chose this sake because I wanted to keep it light, but.... If I wanted to warm it up, I could have used a more robust Junmaishu or even Honjozo. I'm still learning💦.

On a trip to Shiga, I visited Hirai Shoten. The quaint appearance of the store and the display of products were a sight to behold. Today's bottle was the "Sake Brewer's 3003000 Year Old" (pictured left). The aroma is melon, apple, and pineapple, and the first sip is a punch. It has a mellow sweetness, but the acidity and bitterness make it crisp and refreshing. Delicious. Well, Shiga Prefecture was fun! I'm also looking forward to Kosetsu (I heard it's read as Fouche) on the right side of the photo 😄.

This doburoku is made to order. I pre-ordered it at the end of August through a guide from my favorite liquor store, and it has arrived. It's my first doburoku! The sweet and sour Awaraku in the photo expresses it all. It tastes like sweet sake with the texture of petite rice and the sizzling cider-like carbonation you feel when you crush it, making it a refreshing, mouth-watering drink. It's adjusted to 5% alc:5% and goes down swiftly. It's no longer a dessert!

I was completely captivated by the 126. This time it is in a large size of 1440ml. It is also nice that it comes in a PET bottle with no decoration at all. The bottle was opened while feeling the healthy yeast. Yes, it's really good! It is a super thick, bumpy type of wine. The expression is too harsh, but it is like "drinking yogurt-flavored porridge" (it is delicious, so please do not misunderstand me...). It is low in alcohol and you can drink it up in no time. Tomiikiku's local sake ministry️ popular at Haneya. This sake is available in supermarkets😊. The traditional method of production is the same as that of Haneya.
