National Sake Fair 2025 part69 Yamagata Prefecture 2 Matsuyama Sake Brewery in Sakata City The company name is different from Sake no Wa, but it looks like they changed the name. I've been interested in this brand since I started drinking sake, because I know many bloggers and SNS followers who drink it. Rice polishing ratio 40%, Yamagata sake brewing rice 16%, Sake degree -3.0 Acidity 1.3, 2750 yen Fruity, sweet and delicious. I wish it was available in Kansai! Looking at the list, there were many breweries in Yamagata that brought high-priced sake. We gave up after 2 breweries because we didn't have time! Drunken Garden in Azumino, Shinshu. I was curious to buy it because it is 59% Hitogokochi, a Nagano Prefecture sake. As the label says, it is a refreshing sake with a delicious flavor. It is not at the top level of popular Nagano sake, but it has a glimpse of Nagano's sake character.

The fourth and final bottle I bought from Gonoi Sake Store's free shipping campaign is Karahashi, which is one of my favorite brands ❗ As I wrote in my previous review, it is brewed by Homare Shuzo, the family of freelance announcer Yumi Karahashi 😘. I've had the Yamada Nishiki black kara-hashi a few times before, but I've missed the Yume-no-Koh white kara-hashi a few times at my local liquor store, so I took this opportunity to pop it ☝️. The upfront aroma is a hint of strawberry🍓. It's sweet and delicious at first, but after swallowing, the bitter and sour aftertaste spreads slowly. It's dry compared to Haneya's Aizan, which I opened just before, but I like it because it's not overpowering, and it goes well with almost anything😄. It's a shame that the brand name is not registered on Sake no Wa... 😢.

This is a raw sake from Karahashi that I drank last month: ❗️ It was so delicious and well balanced that I had to buy it because I wanted to drink nama-sake 😊. I bought it because I wanted to drink a nama sake 😊. The aroma is subdued, but it has a freshness and a hint of gas that is typical of nama-shu. Delicious with freshness and a hint of gasiness ‼️ It tastes more Japanese sweetness🤔 than fruity and elegant. Comparison of nigori sake from Wakayama's favorite brands (1) We compared nigori sake from two of our favorite brands, Minakata and Chokyu. First, let's start with Minakata 😄. The first one has a fresh and fruity aroma like apples and a strong fizzy feeling. It has a full, sweet flavor and a crisp, refreshing taste, and is just as delicious as one would imagine 😍. It's been quite a while since I've had Nanpo, but I don't remember it ever being out of place and I think it's a good brand with a high level of quality 😁.

The first Minakata I've had in probably 3 years, given to me in a 300ml bottle ☺️The 4-pack bottle has a picture of Minakata Kumagusu and the brand story on it, but with 300ml there's no room for that... 😅. It has a thin banana 🍌 aroma with a slight tang of alcohol behind it. After a slightly sweet attack, the aftertaste is a good mix of bitterness, sourness and spiciness. The aftertaste of bitterness lasts quite long. It will go well with both meat and fish without any conflict. The quality of the sake is similar to Kido's Junmai Ginjo. Is it because it is a sake from Wakayama Prefecture?

When I drank it, I found it to be a strong style of traditional sake 😚 with a good balance of flavor, sweetness, and bitterness, and it was thick 🥰It was like an all-purpose sake 🤤.
