A four-pack of sake cost less than 1,000 yen at a nearby Maruhachi.
During the day we toured sake breweries in Nada, but in the evening we drank it at home.
As is typical of Kyoto sake, the aroma was gorgeous right after the bottle was opened.
When we drank it, it was quite heavy.
It is a new taste for me.
The mild pineapple flavor is slightly bitter toward the aftertaste. It finishes well. It is sweet and smooth, but has a strong core. Today the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the weather was clear, but the wind was cold. The limited edition of Jurakudai was also delicious.
I heard it's called Jurakuudai 🍶.
This is my first time 🍶✨.
It's crisp and has a taste that says "I'm a sake man". I'm getting very drunk 🙂🙃🫠.
Finish with chicken rice soup!
Warm, sake, salty, sake, what a wonderful endless loop✨!
This is a Jurakudai from Sasaki Shuzo. The sweet aroma immediately after opening the bottle is just as sweet as it should be. It also has a youthful fruity sweetness reminiscent of bananas and pears. After a while, umami and a hint of bitterness also appear, making it very tasty. It has a very clear image, without any unpleasant taste. I enjoyed it with stir-fried tofu left over from dinner. Very tasty.
A junior colleague bought this sake as a souvenir on his way home from a business trip.
The sweetness of the rice is strong, and the throatfeel is sweet.
The aroma is weak, so it might be good as a food sake.
I couldn't feel the famous water in the description, but it was a sweet and tasty sake!
