It is a spring sake, but the label is not pink or something spring-like, but for some reason, it has a full moon. My own guess is that it comes from the haiku term "Haru-Manzuki," which means "full moon in spring. But it still looks like a hiyaoroshi. Lactic acidity from the top-tasting aroma. The mouthfeel is silky and light sweetness from the tangy gasiness, and the umami is jiggly. The aftertaste is full of lactic acidity, and the closing acidity and bitterness are robust. I thought it was a bit of a rush at the back of my throat, but it was only 17%. It is light, so you don't feel it too much, but it is quite heavy. Purchased 👀 at Sazanami Sake Shop in front of the station during a day trip to Hikone. Beautiful, corner space and friendly staff. It was a nice store 😙. Since I was there, I chose Kazuhiro, a sake I had never had before from Shiga. It was full, slightly sweet, had a delicious rice flavor, and was very drinkable 😋. Paired with sweet ayu fish from Lake Biwa, it was delicious. ❤️ It is indeed a sake from Shiga, a rice-producing region 😇
