Nagurayama Shuzo's Aizu Shikon is brewed in Aizu Wakamatsu City. I was thrilled to discover a cozy sake store in a residential area that looked like a renovated warehouse 🚙 and entered the store to meet my first sake. At home. Kumamoto sake, Sung Kaoru, purchased on an expedition to Fukuoka. The Sansho I was looking for was sold out, and I managed to find this Kumamoto sake. It has a smooth, refreshing taste with a slight bitterness at the end. It was a dangerous one that was easy to drink. After a long time, I took a walk around Motomachi area in Kobe by bicycle, bought some gyoza (Chinese dumplings), and went home. Since it was Saturday afternoon, Sannomiya and Motomachi were quite crowded, and the city seemed to have regained its vitality.

The clerk at the liquor store recommended this sake to me if I liked it sweet. Indeed, it was a perfect strike! My partner and I said in unison, "Delicious! I said in unison. At first, the sourness is strong and tingling, but when you swallow it, the aroma of rice escapes from your nose, and there is a faint sweet aftertaste. If you are not a fan of sake, this is a sake you should try. Wakaha Shuzo is the best!

Comparison of nigori sake (Wakayama's favorite nigori sake) Following Minakata, Chokyu ✌️ This is the fire-brewed version of the nigori sake we drank in February. I buy every bottle of Chokyu I see that I have never had before 😆. The first thing that surprised me when I drank it was that there was no fizziness at all 😲. The aroma is somewhat almond-like, and it's cloudy with a lot of orioles, so it's like diluted almond milk. But it also has a sourness to it, so I felt a bit unbalanced 🤔. I prefer nigori sake with a fizzy taste 😄.

Nigori Sake (Japanese rice wine) First time drinking Chokyu's nigori 😊. I always buy Chokyu when I see the new label ✌. The ori is quite a bit more and has a strong fizzy feel to it. It has a lot of umami and a hint of sweetness that is typical of Chokyu, and yet it has a clean dryness that makes it a dangerous sake that you can drink with gusto 🤭. The impression is quite similar to Hirotogawa's nigori👍 It goes well with western food, and the omelette was a nice match 😋.

[Summer sake is also berry good😂] The most memorable brand I drank last year, super kyu🥰. Don't miss out on getting a bottle of summer raw sake that's also bright! This one is a bit different from the matured Omachi sake I had last year, and I have the impression that it swings in a very sweet and juicy direction. The aroma is tropical 🥭 and the flavor is perfect, with a long, sharp finish and a hint of bitterness. The umami flavor is firm, so it is easy to match with Japanese fried food 👍. Chokyu seems to have a different direction for each label, but each one has its own characteristics and they are all delicious and addictive 😍.

I was there just two and a half months ago, so I missed it a lot! Once again, Kamakura is a wonderful place! I bought this Wakaba unfiltered sake in the summer and felt it was still young, so I let it sleep in the closet. It has a good balance of flavor, with the punch of unfiltered sake, but without losing the simple country feel of Wakaba. I put it in the closet again, but it was good enough. It's not Wakaba, but Higuchi Shinyo, a triple axel that is anything but rustic! The ROC is still very difficult, but I hope the Japanese will do their best to get on the podium!

New Year's sake (2) - Women's tears When I went back to my parents' house, my father bought this sake. It seemed to be a recommendation from Aoki Shoten. With all due respect, I had never heard of this sake and it was unknown to me. When I opened the bottle, there was not much aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness and gradually start to feel the alcohol, and it ends up being dry. From the naming, you would expect it to be intensely dry.
