At home. First time in Gifu, Shirakawa-go. It's very thick, even among the nigorizake I've drunk. The aroma is like sweet sake. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness of the rice and grain, and the sourness. The texture is tart and leaves a little residue on the tongue, but it's not unpleasant. I think it is best served on the rocks.

Sake from a sake brewery in the northern part of the prefecture, located in the famous production area of Hachitan-Nishiki, Hiroshima's representative sake rice.
