It tastes like a cup of sake, but it has a little sweetness and a deep flavor. It tastes like a cup of sake, but it has a little sweetness and a deep flavor. If you have a chance, try it!
Sake with a vigorous label. It reads "Yamato Gokoro."
At room temperature.
Grain aroma with sweetness. It has a mild, mature sweetness and a crisp umami flavor with a lingering aftertaste that lingers gradually, creating a relaxing aftertaste.
When heated, it has a rich, mellow aroma and a sweet, umami taste that will make you smile.
A perfect accompaniment on a cold day.
I'm drinking at home🎵
This is a gift from a friend who went to visit 88 places in Shikoku 🙏.
I'm not a big fan of nigori (cloudy) sake, so I went with heated sake 😁.
It's like amazake with alcohol and it's delicious 😋.
At Kaorihime, Shinbashi
(Delicious and well-balanced!
Sea bream and Matsuyama-age tofu paste with vegetables
And I think I forgot to take a picture of the appetizer, but I was very surprised at how delicious the seasoning was!
The 4th Shikoku Souvenir
Sake brewed by a sake brewery in Saijo City (formerly Toyo City) with rice produced in Ehime Prefecture (Matsuyama Mitsui, Shizuku Ehime).
That alone is enough to pass the test!
It is dry and strong. It is very drinkable.
It is a sake that goes well with summer!
OSAKA SAKE&FOOD EXPO 2024⑳
We returned to the Yomiuri Shimbun booth again.
We tasted "Yamato Kokoro" which we hadn't tasted yet.
I have seen Takeda's "Ehime Ichie" before, but this was my first time to taste "Nihon Kokoro".
The brewing water is from the "Uchinuki" spring in the Ishizuchi mountain range.
Ehimeichikai" is a new brand launched by Shozo Takeda, the head brewer of the brewery.
Nihon Shin Michi Junmai Daiginjo
A well-balanced, high quality sake with sweetness, umami, and bitterness. It has a little bit of a tang. I think it would have been better if it was chilled.
The label is a chic black and white horizontal stripe, I don't know what kind of sake it is😅.
OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024⑱.
The last of the Yomiuri Shimbun booth is here.
There are stores where you can buy Nihonshin, and I've had it, but I've never seen such an expensive sake...
Yamada-Nishiki 40% polished rice
More modern label than the Nihonshin I drank at home 😁.
It's gorgeous, but I felt it's more sake-like...
The label is also modern and written in English, so I wonder if it's for export?
