Drink hot
Aroma: Aroma of rice
Taste is mainly sweet with a hint of rice and koji, a little sourness and a light bitterness at the end.
Easy to drink, a lower alcohol version of Funaguchi
The fresh flavor expands from around the middle to the end of the bottle.
The slightly sharp taste of the full-bodied flavor lingers in the aftertaste.
Kikusui like a chrysanthemum
To be able to drink sake of this rank at this price
Thanks to Kikusui!
I like that it is junmai sake.
I don't think it has a strong rice flavor.
I don't think it has a strong rice flavor, but it has the freshness of sake,
without leaning too much towards either.
Sake! without being too much on one side or the other.
It is good to drink it with sashimi👍.
Here we go again this year, the first in a series of trophies from the Niigata Sake Festival. It's...Kikusui!
Just like last year, Kikusui's booth was crowded this year. Funaguchi seemed to be the most popular, but I decided to buy this one immediately after tasting it, as I thought it was as good as the others.
It is sharp and edgy rather than fresh at the entrance, followed by umami and then dryness. I remember the lady at the booth told me to be careful because of its high alcohol content (19%) (I was already drunk at that time). It is a dangerous drink because it is easy to drink.
I bought 6 bottles this time. I will update this page as needed.

It is a very economical pack.
It is a very good value pack.
The label says it is sweet, but I personally think it is more on the dry side.
It is delicious!
