When I was in college, a sake-loving professor recommended this bottle to me. It is dry and has a rich taste. I really like the kick that a dry sake gives when it goes down your throat... ⌯́́⌯̀⌯́⌯̀⌯₎. It's been a while since I've had it 🥰. I guess I like dry sake after all.

Aomori Sake Inamuraya I used to drink outside. Special Junmai was done. There are not many check-ins for this sake. It's a sake from Aomori, so... I had the impression that it was a famous sake with a harsh name and a long history, so I thought it would have a strong alcoholic taste, but no matter what, it's very easy to drink. Purchased at the Shinsaibashi Takashimaya Department Store on the recommendation of a store clerk. Rice used is unknown. The richness of the original sake can be felt. It does not have much of a nama-zake character, and is clear and clean through the throat, making it a sake that you will never get tired of drinking. Because of its name, I had always assumed it was a sake from Kyoto. I️ was surprised to learn that it was the first Japanese sake to win the Monde Selection gold medal, and that Wakayama is proud of this world-class sake. My sincere apologies 🙏.

At the return home. Junmai sake from a local brewery, Takai Shuzo's "Koshinohatsubai". A rare and true gem among spring wild plants, Ki no Mame. It is served with the yolk of an egg. It is a sprout of akebi, and its bitterness and the breath of spring are irresistible. Local shiitake mushrooms are also available. The light and refreshing local sake goes well with this dish, and it is blissful.

The first challenge for the first Bodai yeast sake is the sake from Nara, the birthplace of Bodai yeast 🕺🏻. Takacho 🦅❗️ from Aburicho Sake Brewery, well known for Kaze no Mori 🕺🏻. I got this one because it's only available in April! The label is so cool 👍! I thought it might be a bit peculiar since it's made from the Muromachi period, but it's not as sour as I thought it would be, and it's full-bodied and tasty while also giving off a unique flavor😳. I was expecting it to be a bit peculiar, but it was not as acidic as I thought it would be, and it was delicious with a unique flavor and richness 😳. It is rated -34 on the sake scale, but it is not too sweet and can be drunk easily 😋. Different from Kaze no Mori, this one was delicious too! I think I'll try another Bodai Hashimoto Sake 😋!

I had it waiting in the freezer, but I didn't realize how quickly it would crisp up. It was hot, so I decided to finish it off with a dessert. Adult sherbet Naoshichi is a brand of citrus fruit from Kochi. It's good to have in the freezer from now on. ⭕️ The manufacturer is Kikusui Sake Brewery. No, it's from Kochi, so it's from here.

Okan's present sake series. Today I chose Kikusui. I didn't know there was a Kikusui in Tosa. I didn't know that😓I expected some sweetness since it is a junmai ginjo, but it was very dry. Sometimes it is nice to drink sake at room temperature. It's a single-batch bottle, so it's easy to open 😄.
