We ordered at Benkei no weibasho, an izakaya near Niigata Station. This restaurant is operated by a local conveyor-belt sushi chain, and we were informed that their seafood dishes are sure to be good, so we made a reservation and visited. I was curious about this sake at Ponshukan, where I had wandered around during lunch. Niigata is known for its dry sake, but this one is quite fruity. It is not too sweet, so it goes well with sashimi. I mean, too much throat groyne!

At home. I️ watched the hot battle for the high school baseball autumn season Kinki tournament at the Wakayama Kimiidera stadium. On the way home, I️ bought my first "Imanishiki" at Sakeya Kagimoto in Wakayama City. I️ bought Nagano Prefecture's sake in Wakayama Prefecture⁉️. And today, I opened the bottle. It has a gorgeous aroma, a smooth mouthfeel, sweetness, umami, and a bit of acidity. It has a fruity feeling in the nose. It is not too sweet and has a moderate dry taste. My favorite team lost, and I was feeling hopeless about the Koshien tournament, so I thought I would be a little burned out, but it was very tasty and comforting. I knew it was Nagano sake, and there is no mistake.

This brewery was closed in April this year due to the effects of Corona and other factors. It is said that there is no reopening schedule, so it is practically closed. It's a rich, umami type that's different from the general image of Niigata's sake. It has a sweetness from the rice. As it has won a gold medal, I'm sure this sake would be delicious warmed. Toyosaka -Toyosaka-. This is the first Toyosaka Echigo Den'emon we have had in a year, and it is made with Ginbukiyo (a cross between Yamadanishiki and Tamakoe). Here are the specs for the soft-water Yamahai Yamahai Tank Shiboribori Nama-nazake. It has a grape-like heady aroma and a fresh, rich, apple-like sweetness with a slight dustiness.
