I bought it at a product show the other day. I had never heard of this brand, but I tasted it and liked it. It was 19 degrees, so I drank it lightly on the rocks. I paired it with stewed daikon radish and shellfish sashimi as the cold weather deepened. It was moderately dry and went well with sashimi.

This Sake is very interesting. It has a citrus flavor like grapefruit. The flavor really cleanses the pallet.
Junmai nama-shu YAMADANISHIKI 90 Rice polishing ratio 90%❗️ This is the challenge sake of Michiko Urasato, the female toji of Yui. Yamada Nishiki is brewed at 90% polishing ratio without polishing. The taste of the rice is rich and intense❗️, but there is a light fizzy feeling. There is also a little bit of orage mixed in. This is why it is milder and softer in the mouth than I expected. The aftertaste is refreshing. It's amazing. Michiko Urasato, Toji 💡. I had it with ginger yaki, and it was delicious. The sake and side dishes go well together😆. I've heard that if you let it sit for a few days, you'll get a different taste of the rice, so I stopped at halfway today. I heard it's also good at different temperatures.

I tasted it during the New Year holidays. I thought it was arabashiri, but the staff mistakenly put shiboritate in it 🤣. It was fresh and easy to drink even though it had been fired once.

Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.

Junmai Ginjo🍶Aged Sake✨Snow❄️☃️ Aged sake, light yellow in color. Cold sake, matured, Daruma Masamune-like. Not heavy, warmed to 60 degrees. Soft around the edges. Mellow. ☺️ It's still a sake for warming up. I served it with scallop sashimi sent from my relatives in Hokkaido 😋The scallops were huge and delicious💕. Purchased at Iida Sake Shop @ Shiki.

We have changed our nickname "Kikushika of Wind Island" to "Evening Drinks Conservation Committee". Thank you for your continued support. This sake, in a plastic bottle with no label, is 10 years old. It is no longer sold, but it was my favorite sake. As expected, it has a lot of old sake flavor and is too strong on its own. When mixed with carbonated soda, it is like a lemon soda with honey added to the tannin, a world I have never tasted before. I crossed the pedestrian bridge, which has been there for a long time, for the first time. It is a town I know, but I saw a view I have never seen before. It's probably the last five minutes of my life.

OSAKA-JO SAKE SQUARE 2023(´¦) Very sharp and refreshing, a dry sake with a thick body that is not light. A junmai sake that tastes great chilled. No strong character, but good for everyday drinking I imagined that Frog's ginjo-nama-zake next to it would also be good, but my weak liver stopped screaming and I gave up on it! At a soba restaurant selected as one of the 100 best soba restaurants in "EAT LOG". I was lost in the many dishes on the menu and decided to go with my favorite "Kamo Seiro" and a decanter of Kanazawa-ya sake. It was recommended as dry, but it was soft rather than refreshingly dry. It was delicious!

Special sake that I got as a gift when visiting the shuzo. It is new year blended koshu released from the brewery every new year time. It blended the Daiginjo from year 1989, 2001 & 2013. Surprisingly, its still very light body - unlike other koshu which makes you too full. I like the aroma, while soy sauce and umami is significant, you can also feel the raisin, dried grapes inside. On palate it leans more towards coffee, toffee & dark chocolate. Serving hot is a good choice too.

Gorgeous ginjo aroma. It has a clean, light and beautiful sweetness. Although it is jungin, the taste is so beautiful that you would think it is daiginjo. Is it because it is made by hanging it in a bag? It is delicious, but maybe too elegant. It would have been better if it had a little more umami.

This sake is limited to two liquor stores, one in Sakai and the other in Kishiwada. Only 12 bottles are in stock, so the next time I come back, there won't be any left, so I was allowed to try a special sample before purchasing. It has a rather gorgeous ginjo aroma. It has a low alcohol content and is sweet with a gentle taste. It is low in alcohol, but you can feel the fullness of the flavor. It has no gaseous feeling, but it is fresh. It can be used by itself or with food. Shimada Special is delicious no matter what you drink.
