The last of Hankyu Brewery Festival The first one: Fukuoka Wakatakeya Debut Sake like a dark white wine with the flavor of rice. But it is easy to drink! But be careful, it has 17 degrees of alcohol! This one was taught by Haruei Chichi and Gura. It's my first time in Fukuoka with this delicious drink! Thank you very much 🙏. I felt like it was a sake to be enjoyed by itself and sipped slowly 🥳.

GW in Kanazawa! At the Kanazawa Sake Brewery in Kanazawa Station, we came across a dream machine that allowed us to sample sake for 100 or 300 yen (P.S.) Naturally, we took the challenge. The description said it was dry, but I prefer raw sake, so I chose this one. I tasted it thinking it might be a fruity type, but it was a clear dry sake that would go well with sashimi and other dishes. I appreciate free tastings, but I feel somewhat guilty about it, so this kind of reasonably priced tasting is very helpful and encourages me to try different kinds. I tasted three other types of sake here, and all of them seemed dry to me. I have an image that Ishikawa's sake is basically dry.

Morimoto Shuzo Koyogi Junmai Ginjo Comet 50. It is a jackpot purchase. It is a delicious sake with a great taste and a great drinking experience 😋.

Morimoto Morimoto Junmai Sake "Hatsu-no-Takimikiri 2022". This is my first time to drink this brewery. It was a delicious one 🍶🎶 and served chilled. It is a dark, umami, spicy sake, but as the temperature returns to normal, the sweetness and sourness come through. I think it is a good sake at room temperature or warmed. All of Shizuoka Prefecture's sake is delicious.

Sake from a brewery famous for Ryujinmaru. It has been a very long time since Kirakuri. After Shikishima, tkmts-san was drinking Ryujinmaru, and I wanted to try something of Takagaki-san's sake, so I chose Kirakuri. This time it was an unfiltered raw Nakadori. It has a caramelized taste with sweetness and a sense of maturity. It's just a coincidence that there is a succession of sakes with a sense of maturity, such as Washin, Shikishima, and Kirakuri.

Wakayama Pref. Arita-gun. Takagakizo Co. Kiraku-ri Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo Unrefined Nakakumi I bought this at my first liquor store while I went to Wakayama to buy dried fish during GW. I wanted to get Ryujinmaru, but they said it was not available now. They will sell it to anyone who comes to the store. I had it with cold sake. The color is clear and slightly yellow. The top aroma is of almonds, caramel, chocolate, and a little alcohol. The label on the back of the bottle says that it was fermented slowly and for a long time at a low temperature, so I guess it has an aged aroma. The taste is thick and voluminous with a grain-like flavor. There is also a good amount of acidity. There is an almond aroma that goes into the nose, an alcoholic aroma, and a guttural sake-like sensation in the throat. The alcohol content of 19 degrees comes later. After adding a bit of ice and water, the alcohol feeling is reduced and it becomes easier to drink. Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic) Polishing ratio: 50%. Alcohol content: 15%.

Hakone Drink Comparison Set (2) On March 1, after a year-long event, I went on a trip to Hakone as a way of consolation! The local sake was served to compare with Japanese kaiseki. It was my first time to try Hakonezan! This is the spiciest sake in the group. It is a dry ginjo-shu as you might imagine, but it is moderately rich and very good as a mid-meal drink. Of course, it goes well with ingredients as they are, but it also goes well with dishes that have been added, such as those using dashi (Japanese soup stock)!

Yokohama Salmon Square (1) On Sunday, my high school classmate and I went to Yokohama Sake Square at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from 11:00 a.m. Stalls were mainly sake breweries from Kanagawa and neighboring prefectures. Takashimaya limited edition sake! It's a gift 😄. The sharp acidity from the very slight acidity lasts for a long time. It has a nice sharpness that disappears quickly 😆. No sweetness, but the alcohol feeling that comes after is pleasant 😆. A dry junmai daiginjo that is not sweet 🍶. This is a good food sake🙆.

Outside drinking. Ordered by the impact of the name. When poured, it smells moist and sweet. The taste is as expected (?). The sweetness is strong. When tasted, it has the flavor of rice. There is a slight astringency in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is clean, with a watery sensation and a nice clean finish. There is a distinctive sweet aroma. It is a mellow, sweet sake, and you can sense the careful craftsmanship. Later I looked it up and found the word "Toyobai" 😳. I didn't realize it was so 😚.

I bought it at a product show the other day. I had never heard of this brand, but I tasted it and liked it. It was 19 degrees, so I drank it lightly on the rocks. I paired it with stewed daikon radish and shellfish sashimi as the cold weather deepened. It was moderately dry and went well with sashimi.
