Morimoto Morimoto Junmai Sake "Hatsu-no-Takimikiri 2022". This is my first time to drink this brewery. It was a delicious one 🍶🎶 and served chilled. It is a dark, umami, spicy sake, but as the temperature returns to normal, the sweetness and sourness come through. I think it is a good sake at room temperature or warmed. All of Shizuoka Prefecture's sake is delicious.

I bought it at a product show the other day. I had never heard of this brand, but I tasted it and liked it. It was 19 degrees, so I drank it lightly on the rocks. I paired it with stewed daikon radish and shellfish sashimi as the cold weather deepened. It was moderately dry and went well with sashimi.

No strong character, but good for everyday drinking I imagined that Frog's ginjo-nama-zake next to it would also be good, but my weak liver stopped screaming and I gave up on it! Outside drinking. Ordered by the impact of the name. When poured, it smells moist and sweet. The taste is as expected (?). The sweetness is strong. When tasted, it has the flavor of rice. There is a slight astringency in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is clean, with a watery sensation and a nice clean finish. There is a distinctive sweet aroma. It is a mellow, sweet sake, and you can sense the careful craftsmanship. Later I looked it up and found the word "Toyobai" 😳. I didn't realize it was so 😚.

Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.
