After work, I drank Nanbu Bijin for the first time.
It is a smooth drink with a slight aftertaste and a delicious taste of rice, and it was gone before I knew it 🤣.
The second glass.
Kozutsuru with warmed sake.
We had the best combination of Kouzutsuru and crab there 🦀.
It was so delicious, with a hint of sweetness and mildness. 🙆♂️
Outing to Kinosaki Onsen.
First time drinking Asago's local sake, Chikusen.
It's a classic type of sake with a strong rice flavor and sweetness. 🙆♂️
It might be good warmed up.
I didn't plan to open it for this date, but the timing happened to be right.
Fukushima sake on March 11🍶.
A slightly sweet, fruity, fresh bottle. It is a gentle sake.
It has been 14 years since that day 🤔.
I had it while thinking about Tohoku.
The last sake is from the Yuriage area of Natori City, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
This sake has a strong rice flavor with a refreshing aftertaste.
The brewery was completely destroyed by the earthquake, but they started brewing sake in a temporary warehouse the following year and returned to the Yuriage area in 2019.
Episodes like this make me want to support them 😊.
The second glass is also from Iwate, Horinoi.
This one is an easy-drinking sake with a subtle fruity flavor 🍶.
I like the feeling of not getting tired of drinking it. 🙆♂️
I'm back at the sake bar at the Tohoku products exhibition being held at Harukas lol.
The first glass was Hamamusume from the same brewery as Akabu.
Unlike Akabu, this brand was made in Otsuchi-cho before it was moved to Morioka after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
It is said to be an Iwate-only brand 😳.
It tastes like a clear, clean, light and dry sake.
It is a food sake that goes well with seafood 🐟.
The last was Suminoe.
This sake is made from four types of sake rice: Yamada-Nishiki, Hachitan-Nishiki, Gin-no-Iroha, and Omachi.
A cup with a unique flavor to a clean aftertaste. 🙆♂️
It was delicious too!
Next is a local sake from Ofunato.
This sake is inspired by the "Miracle Pine Tree" in the neighboring town of Rikuzentakata.
A classic sake with just the right amount of sweetness and umami from the rice. It might be good warmed up.
At the sake bar of the Tohoku products exhibition at Abeno Harukas.
Choice of local sake from three prefectures on the Pacific Ocean side.
The first one from the left, Yaemon's Spring Sake from Kitakata.
It has a refreshing sweet and sour taste like a pear, and is a drink that even beginners will like.
It is a nice sake that is typical of Fukushima. 🙆♂️
Good evening, Mr. Tadatsu. I see there was a sake bar at the Tohoku products exhibition in Harukas. Yaemon uses cooking sake, and when I run out of sake at home, I am tempted to drink cooking sake 🤣 I knew it would be good 😋.
The newest sake brewery in Japan right now is the Iraka Sake Brewery in Nagano.
I tried it for the first time and it was a nice fruity, sweet, gassy yet soft sake. 🙆♂️
I'm sure it will become more popular in the future!
The last one was Tobiroki Black Label.
It was hard at first, but as time passed and the temperature rose, I felt the fruity sweetness and flavor that is typical of Tobiroki. 🙆♂️
The sake cost brewery, the sake, of course, but the food was also very good!
I will be back 😆.
The fifth drink was a local sake from Iruma County, Saitama Prefecture.
It was introduced as the sweetest sake in the store.
It was even sweeter than kijoshu, and I wondered if it was really junmai sake.
I thought it seemed to be low in alcohol content, but when I checked it out, it was 8%, which is a very low alcohol content sake.
This is my fourth glass.
This is the second time I've had this year's Jikin, but unlike last year, it's back to its full-blown sweetness that is typical of Jikin. ☺️
It's very good!
The third cup is Jyushiyo Honmaru.
Compared to the second cup of Arabashiri, it has a mellow, sweeter and softer taste. 🙆♂️
I think I like Honmaru better.
It is a luxury to be able to drink this much Jyushidai 🤣.
The second drink was the second Jyushidai.
This time, we started with the Arabashiri.
It is sweet, juicy, and has a sharpness that is characteristic of nama-zake.
As expected, it did not disappoint 🤣.
At the sake cost brewery I visited for the first time.
The first sake was Tamagawa Sake Brewery's Tama Flavor, famous for itsky.
Unlike Itt Key, this one had a slightly sweet aftertaste with a sharp finish 🍶.
It was a nice sake. 🙆♂️
The last one is Tafresh, a local sake from Yokote.
I've never seen two kanji characters lined up by this person before😅.
A spicy to refreshing drink.
Might be similar to the 7 spears I had before 🤔.
This one was also delicious.
Next is a sake made by that DHC.
A sweet, fruity, easy-drinking Junmai Daiginjo straight down the middle.
It seems to be easily accepted by beginners 😆.
Drinking alone from noon on a holiday.
I went to a sake bar in Umeda and compared three brands I had never tried before.
The first one was Tengumai.
I thought it would be more intense, but it was surprisingly mellow and the rice flavor spread out.
It was delicious enough even as a cold sake. 🙆♂️
