The second glass was a brand I had been curious about, Ayu Masamune.
This was served cold.
It is a junmai-shu (pure rice sake) with a lightness and softness typical of Niigata.
It is suitable for a mid-meal drink. 🙆♂️

After work today, I compared two kinds of local sake from Myoko City, Niigata.
The first was Kiminoi.
It was served at room temperature and is a gentle classic sake that quickly disappears after a strong flavorful drink 🍶.
It was delicious. 🙆♂️

Purchased at the KITTE Osaka antenna store
Classic but slightly sweet.
It was a very ordinary sake, not even in the realm of ordinary honjozo or regular sake...
Niigata Gokome was only available in 4 gou, but 300ml was enough for me...
