Inspired by a daytime walk and a few drinks, I opened a bottle of this one that had been sitting in the fridge! I bought it to compare with AKABU's SAKURA, but since the 🌸 season is almost over, I opened it first for now! The taste immediately after opening the bottle was smooth and easy to drink, like a sports drink! After the citrus fruit aroma, it disappears leaving a pleasant acidity! It retains its Sentori character. As the temperature rises, the alcohol taste comes out, but it was not the gusty alcohol taste that is typical of the original sake! The label says it is 14 degrees, which makes sense. I felt this was best drunk at a cherry blossom viewing party! 4.2/5

Hi Satoh 😀 I'm starting a spring sake drinking contest today too 😀. Of course, this sake is in the lineup, but Mr. Akabu didn't notice it 🤣. I'll try to keep it at a lower temperature too 😇

While taking a walk, I stopped by a nearby liquor store to look for a small bottle of Otters! The bottle was opened with no difficulty, although there was a slight spurt when the bottle was opened! When I drank it, I found that it had a sweetness similar to that of amazake, and since it was jun-dai, it also had a polished feel! It was for one goume, but it didn't go down very fast lol! The cherry blossoms were just in bloom and there were stalls set up, so we walked around drinking! I want to go cherry blossom viewing (sake party) this year! 3.0/5

Hello Satou-san 🐦🐦. The sake and the cherry blossoms are a beautiful match 🌸The fact that it's a sparkling nigori is also very spring-like 👍✨I see it's a one-bottle bottle 😳.

Hello Ponchan 😃 I always look forward to reading your posts! I did it because it's the only time of year I can do it 💦 lol. It was one batch, so it was just the right amount for a leisurely walk around the park!

I bought another kind because the last one I drank was so good! Last time it was made from Yamadanishiki, but this time it was made from a rice called Mizuho Kogane! According to my research, Mizuho Koganei is only used at Akebono Shuzo! I like sweet sake, so I chose this one because it had a sake strength of -5 on the label! I opened the bottle with trepidation as it was an active nigori sake, but there was no sign of spilling, just a little carbonation and lees floating in the bottle💦 (which was a bit of a letdown lol). The top clear liquid has a sweetness that spreads out and leaves nothing but sweetness on the palate! Personally, I think it's my favorite sake! After that, when I mixed the lees and drank it, unlike the supernatant, the sweetness and acidity came at the same time and ran right through! The bitterness is not so noticeable. It was the first time in a long time that I found a sake that I liked, not a rare sake! I also purchased a different year of Ao Yamadanishiki Arashigiri, so I look forward to comparing the two 😊. 4.5/5

Good evening Manachie-san! I've never had this series before so I'm surprised at how good it tastes 😳I actually bought the Yamadanishiki Fukurodorari after reading your post lol. Please let me know if you have any recommendation for the best one among the O. ☺️

At the Tavern This was my first time to try high-level Jyushiyo! The owner said the upper level was exceptional and when I drank it, it was almost water. I thought it would change my concept of sake! To describe it properly, the mouthfeel is smooth like water and you can hardly feel the alcohol. It was like it just disappeared in your mouth. I was convinced that the price was over 10,000 💦. I'm sure I'll finish a bottle of this in no time. 5.0/5 (I will rate Jyushiyo as a separate category from now on lol)

Izakaya! I actually missed the Aizan lottery for Tobiroki and was wondering if I would be able to drink it this season, then I came across it on the day of the lottery lol! When I drank it, I found that the sweetness of the Aizan was moderate, like a little bit of sweetness added to the Tobiroki Black Label! It's definitely delicious! But those who want the sweetness of Aizan may not be into it! 3.8/5

Izakaya. There was a hana-yosu and the person I was drinking with had never had it before, so we ordered it! It didn't feel like it had just been opened, but was still not fully open, with a ratio of 6-7 sweetness and 3-4 bitterness 💦, but it had the pineapple aroma of the Huayouyasutra and was delicious! I'm going to let the one I have at home sit and then drink it. 4.0/5

A bottle at a sake meeting Long time no see, Mitsuo-san lol This time Yamagata Masamune's Mitobe Sake Brewery When you drink it, it has a fizziness and a nice sharpness! No sweetness, acidity, or bitterness, difficult to describe, but an easy-drinking sake with no characteristics! 3.2/5

A bottle at a sake meeting Same brewery difference as the one I just posted! Both have a 60% rice polishing ratio This one is more crisp and the sweetness is drier than the Hana Hato! Personally, I prefer Hana Hato! 3.3/5

A bottle at a sake meeting Three stores in Hiroshima? They say it's only sold at It is made from Kure Mikimai (Kure Miki Rice) and is said to be made from Kure I drank it with high expectations since they use Hachitan-Nishiki, my personal favorite sake rice, and found it to have a very good balance of sweetness and acidity! This goes well with food sake, or just sake! I would definitely like to repeat this bottle! 3.8/5

A bottle at a sake meeting When I drank it, it had a strong rice flavor, almost like amazake or doburoku... It seemed to be easy to drink even for a woman, and was quickly consumed. Surprisingly, it is available not at a liquor store but at a certain supermarket! I have the impression that many people are addicted to it. 3.3/5

A bottle that was recommended to me at a liquor store in Saitama and had been sleeping. I bought this bottle using sake musashi for comparison with hana-yosu. It has a strong or unique original sake taste! Among the group I drank it with, we were divided into 8 (dislike):2 (preference). It was a bottle that I would not buy by myself! 3.0/5

At an izakaya Attracted by the stylish name, I ordered it! When I looked at the back of the label, it turned out to be Mitsui no Kotobuki, which is famous in a certain basketball manga. It is fruity but spicy! It is crisp and not extremely spicy. The spiciness increases as the temperature rises! I wouldn't have ordered it if it had been spicy from the start. 3.3/5

This is a bottle made from 100% Kamikimoto's Yuki-No-Megami and 35% polished rice! When you drink it, the sweetness comes out all over, but it is not a sticky sweetness; it is smooth, but the mouthfeel is thick and very tasty! I heard that there are only a few liquor stores in Yamagata Prefecture that carry this bottle, so I hope to buy one next year! 4.2/5

Produced by Akebono Shuzo, famous for Tenmei, and sold at liquor stores in Aizuwakamatsu, PB Yamadanishiki Jungin Arahashiri! When you pour it, there is a white ooze and when you drink it, the aroma rushes through you! I was surprised at how aromatic it was! There is a little bit of gassiness? Just a little bit. It's a rough runner, so it's complex, but I like it. The aroma is slightly sweet, but there is a slight bitterness afterwards, but it is pleasant without lingering together! (The horse sashimi is a bit crumbly and doesn't look good, but forgive me 💦 the fat from the futaego melts off and tastes great lol) I'll drink it again 😳. 4.2/5

I was curious about Machida Sake Brewery! My favorite liquor store recommended it to me and I had bought some Gohyakumangoku, but I never got around to opening the bottle. I found a bottle of Nagano Miyamanishiki at another liquor store, so I bought it immediately! When I drank it, it was very different from what I expected 💦I thought it would be sweet because of the Miyamanishiki, but it was sharp without being sweet (the sake level was -1)! The aftertaste is a bit dry in a good way, but it doesn't linger, it just disappears. This is a sake that can be used with fish dishes such as sashimi, and of course, with any meal! I wonder if Gohyakumangoku is not sweeter than Miyamanishiki. 3.3/5 (3.8/5 or so if nothing else 💦 as I expected from Miyamanishiki)

The owner offered me this next one! I was able to purchase Jungin Oorigarami and Jun Daizu Nama sake for this season's Hachitan Nishiki, but not the Jungin Nama sake 💦. It was an unexpected encounter 🙈. As soon as it was poured into the glass, the pineapple was in full bloom! Expectations are high! This season's Hanahayo had some complexity and bitterness 😅 please 🙏 I thought it was Yatanishiki and now it's time to taste it! The sweetness was similar to Miyamanishiki in Hanahyokyu! Not as max sweet as Miyamanishiki, but sweet and tasty compared to other rice! Personally, I think Miyamanishiki, Hachitan Nishiki, and Omachi are better! It makes me so excited to drink jun-dai lol! 4.8/5

Also at the same izakaya. I had only heard of this sake brewery from Nagano Prefecture! The owner recommended this sake, and I was impressed by its sharpness and spiciness! I checked the sake level and found that it was only +1, so it didn't seem that spicy 💦. The first glass of Tedorigawa was more to my liking! 3.2/5

At a tavern! The beer seems to have a strong flavor, as I poured it out! It's quite milky and I have a feeling I'm going to like it. No aroma, smooth and silky on the palate, leaving a sweet taste that quickly disappears. It is difficult to judge exactly because there was only about half of a bottle left, but I have the impression that the bottle has been opened and it has become rounder (and the alcohol feeling has been removed). I think I might prefer this level of flavor! The label said it was rated dry, but it wasn't dry at all. 3.5/5

The izakaya owner graciously allowed us to drink it! We were talking about Imi, Jyushiyo, and Shinmasa, and he said he had some purchased from the brewery! and ... Chiyonohana⁈I thought (I've never heard of this brand 💦) and looked at the label and it said Sugihara Shuzo! The owner said that Izumi is sweeter than Chiyonohana! I tried it and it was sweet enough! If it's sweeter than this, I'm going to get tired of drinking it. Chiyonohana is sweet but has a sharpness to it, which I imagine is similar to Kahanoyaka. Personally, I liked it, but I think it is not available very often, so I was satisfied to have a very rare sake! 4.6/5

I ordered a bottle that I was not sure whether to buy or not, but I found it in a pub! From the moment I drank it, I was amazed at how well balanced it was 😳. In a word, it is sweet and delicious! I think it's a delicious bottle to drink as a mealtime drink or on its own! I regret that I should have purchased it, but now that I have purchased Sake Mirai, let's compare! 4.5/5
