Pink Abe. Gorgeous aroma, moderately sweet and slightly effervescent 🫧. Finishes with a bitter taste and a nice sharpness. Abbe is delicious no matter which one you drink 😋. ...expensive though 🤣. My wife says it's been a while since she was offered a boar's cup from the side and I drink it too. She says it's delicious. Good, good, good😊. I had nothing planned for the day so I pulled out the pressure cooker and made beef stew. I made it with canned tomatoes instead of water, so it was sour and unpopular with the kids😅. It went well with the pink Abe 😆.

This is one of Sukumasa's hanpukai for March. This sake is part of the experimental brewing series by Laughing Shiki Shuzo, and is made with the Tokyo University of Agriculture's Sakura flower yeast. I've heard a lot about flower yeast, but I can't tell the difference at all🤣. I have had the white, black, and blue versions of Sensation, so I was under the impression that it was rather acidic, but this one was sweeter, less acidic, and left a slightly bitter taste 🧐. I like Sensation, but I think this one is also delicious. It was served with boiled soy beans, just like in spring 🍶. It's nice to be able to feel the four seasons in Japan even in the ingredients 😊.

Since I could not buy Shinshu Kamerei🐢, I thought I would at least buy another local Shinshu sake, so I bought Zenkichi💰. I was told that this sake was brewed with a test rice called Shinkosyu 557, Yumemi-nishiki. It had a muscat aroma, so I thought it might be a strong shade of my father's Yamadanishiki. The taste was deeply sweet, but also sharp, so I thought it would not be tiring to drink 😁. Sake from Shinshu is of a high level: ⤴️

I saw someone drinking it at Sake-no-wa and happened to find it, so I bought it. There was a tag on it saying be careful of opening the bottle, but I didn't need to be careful 😅. I couldn't even feel the slight fizz 😅. But what an easy drinker it is 😳. It's not flashy, but it's a beautiful sake with a delicious taste 🍶. As soon as I drank it, I knew I liked this one from ❤️ 🙌 We had some beavers that my work colleague bought locally when he was helping out in the disaster area, and they were emptied in no time 😆.

I told the owner my preference for sweet and juicy, and he recommended HANABE🌸. I really wanted to drink fizzy, so I chose SPLASH🫧, ignoring the owner's look that said, "No, drink the regular one first!" It has a robust acidity typical of Yamahai, and a refreshing citrusy taste 😊. Mixing in the lees increases the sweetness, which is good👍. On the second day, the acidity settles down and more sweetness is felt, and the lemoniness of the first day changes to sweet and sour like sweet summer 🤩. Yum 😋. The entrées were salmon yukke and amaebi no namero (sweet shrimp). Both of them are hard to stop drinking 😆. The sweet shrimp nameko was a big hit with the kids who said, "Don't do anything weird, let's have it as sashimi! The kids were not very happy with it 😅.

This is a bottle from Sukumasa's March hanpukai. This is the second bottle of yuri-brewed sake I've had. It has a strong acidity, so it may not stick with those who don't like acidity. Personally, I would be happy if the acidity could be reduced a little more 😆. It's not important, but my first boss was Yuriko-san, who taught me a lot about her work ethic and how to proceed. That is the foundation of what I am doing now. In that sense, I am also a Yuri-style 🤣. So I feel a kinship with Yuri-shikkake 🤣.

Every year, March is a busy and restless month for work-related reasons😅. While I feel up for spring, I can't welcome spring until my work is done, I feel doldrums 😂. I guess the spring haze is just like that. I like spring, but I don't like haze. However This spring haze was different. ❗️ Aroma of fresh fruit, slight gasiness, soft sweetness, just the right amount of sourness and bitterness. It was a clear and transparent sake that gave me a clear view of the world, and it was the perfect accompaniment to my feelings 😊. This is one of Sukumasa's February hanpukai bottles and it was a wonderful encounter 🍶.

The No. 6 I was lucky enough to buy at the beginning of this year should be drunk by the end of March! So I opened the bottle 🍶 even though I didn't have any. It has an aroma of green apple🍏, a sweet and sour taste like Shinsei, not much bitterness, and a short aftertaste. It tastes good anytime 😋. I heard that the theme for 2022-2023 is Arhangua. No, I don't get it 😅. I heard it's a Buddhist word and it means something like that, like the state of enlightenment. It is said to be the state of having cut off all vexations. Still, I only have a vague idea of what the theme means🤣. In addition, the name of the bottle is Madame Edwarda #1 No, I don't get it 😅. I felt a little tired of drinking it. It might have been different if it was a well-seasoned meal. Maybe the grilled fish didn't go well with it...

Ryoseki Shuzo is one of our favorite breweries. The last Suitama was Yamadanishiki, freshly stored, but this time it is made from Akita rice, unfiltered and unpasteurized. It has a mellow sweetness that is typical of Ryoseki. It's not too strong, so you can't stop drinking it 😅. I went back to my notes of the last Suitama, It's almost the same this time. Almost Hanayuup 🤣. It was delicious.

Sentori with a sense of security. I want to drink it regularly😊. Mild aroma, slight melon🍈. Slightly gassy. Clear and moderate sweetness. Pleasant sourness and bitterness. I didn't notice much of the characteristic sweet and sourness, but it was very easy to drink 🍶.

Here's my first Risshun Shibori to wish you good health and good fortune 🌸 Lutemi, as Pon's review says, Tropical Fruity 🏝️ is very easy to drink, it's a swishy one 😆. Yum 😋. I had a colonoscopy 📷 for the first time in my life a while ago after getting caught up in a test. The hardest part was taking a laxative that was like a big size IV drip. Hououmida for heating up 🍶. I didn't know there was such a Hououou Mita 😳 This year, I wanted to enjoy heated sake, so I bought two bottles of Shichibon-yari and Houououmida at the same time. Shiga love ❤️ and Tochigi love ❤️ I found it to be delicious cold, but the flavor explodes💥 when warmed up to lukewarm. It has a sweet aroma that smells a little like cemedine, and when you put it in your mouth, the umami and sweetness of the rice fills your mouth 😊. It's not sticky, it's refreshing and makes the cup go down a treat 😄. I'm a cold sake drinker, but I like it heated too 🥰.

I even got the equipment to heat up the sake and entered the dazzling world of heated sake 🍶. But first, let's try it cold. The aroma is subdued, the taste is subdued. In other words, it's refreshing. This is a sake that needs to be heated up. Now, to lukewarm sake! The aroma is surprisingly open, the rice is sweet and deep, and the flavor is sharp and piercing! This is the one to warm up. Heating up the sake is delicious! It goes perfectly with Maruzen's oden 👌. I can't stand it 😆. By the way, what does it say on the seven spears' signature? I can't read it at all😅

I got the purple space I had longed for at the Hanshin Department Store event, thanks to information from bouken. I have always wanted a bottle of this wine after reading the reviews of Mr. Wakata and others. I opened a bottle at a dinner party with my sister-in-law who returned from Australia 🇦🇺 after a half year absence 🥂. It has a freshness that is typical of nama-shu, soft sweetness, and a refreshing acidity. This is delicious 😊 I must buy another label! By the way, a glass of beer costs about 1,800 yen in Australia😳. Prices are also high, so my sister-in-law says she eats only beans. I wonder if she's OK... By the way, lentils are not called lentils because they are shaped like lentils, they are called lentils because they are shaped like lentils. Did you know that?

The sake rice and rice polishing ratio seem to have changed since last year's version. The sake rice is now Kitashizuku from Hokkaido, and the rice polishing ratio is now 50% Junmai Daiginjo. The sweet and juicy taste is still there, but a core and penetrating acidity has been added. It is a bit more expensive, but I prefer this year's version.

Purchased at my first liquor store where I wandered in. About 60% of the bottle is lees😳. The sake level was also negative. First, I took a sip of the supernatant. It was so sweet that I thought it was syrup. I think this is a bit too much 😥. Now I mix the lees in with the sake. The sweetness becomes clear and moderate, and the sourness and bitterness are pleasant. And it is thick and creamy. I definitely prefer it mixed in😍. I drank it all over 5 days, with a day off from drinking, and I liked it best on the first day. It seems to get sweeter day by day, maybe a little too sweet on the 5th day😅.

Just drank it recently and bought it again at the hanpukai 😆. Ishikawa sake, and it's delicious, so it's totally OK 🆗. I'm rather glad the liquor store chose this one for the hanpukai 😊. The third one is a souvenir that a junior colleague of mine bought for me when he went to support the disaster area as part of his duties. It is still very difficult and inconvenient to live there, but the infrastructure is being built little by little. I just pray that the people there can live in peace. My opinion on the taste of the sake is the same word for word as last time 🤣. It's delicious👍I hope you all enjoy it!

Lunchtime drinking today🍶. We had Soba-mae (buckwheat noodle) at Yauchi in Shitennoji. The entrée is miso tofu and duck roast (← this is due to Pon-chan's recent post 🤣) It tastes twice as good as usual because you can drink from noon 😊. Muscat type aroma, the sweetness slowly shows its face and then quickly sputters out. Delicious 😋. The soba noodles were also very tasty. Thanks for the food 🎵
