I bought a batch of Motomine Tsuru and this is an extra pongee. It is elegant, which is hard to believe that the rice is polished to 78%. I wonder if it's because it's flat polished rice? Well, there is no way my palate can tell the difference in rice polishing method😅. Sweetness and acidity like a dry white wine, refreshing and quite good. It's very refreshing and quite good.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😊. I can only find kefengtsuru in stores that I can't get to very often, so when I do, I buy the bomb 💸. I think Kifengkaku, the dry type is more refined than the sweet and tasty type 🧐.

Hi Pon 😊 The low milled rice these days tastes so clear that you can't tell unless you are told. This Kiho is no exception 🙌 You might think I'm an odd customer who buys in bulk even if it was made a year ago 🤣.
