It's been a while since I've had a sake from Gunma, Ousai from Takasaki City. I bought it at a local supermarket when I was on a business trip.
Contrary to expectations, this classic sake from a brewery famous for its macho series is not classic and is refreshing and easy to drink. It has a full-bodied banana-like sweetness and acidity, without much dryness. It is not assertive, but it is an excellent sake as a food sake.
The best conditioned Junmai sake in the first half of the year.
Alcohol 17% / Polishing ratio 60
A springtime staple of the sake brewery of your choice!
This is a well-established brewery that I personally cannot go wrong with anything I drink.
It has a melon-like fruity aroma and a mild but firm umami flavor.
If you like mellow sweet sake, you should try Gunma's sake.
It smells like sweet banana and melon even before you drink it. The taste is also banana sweetness. It is easy to drink, although there is a sense of alcohol at the top.
Well, I went to Urasato-san's tasting and was left with a lingering impression of how sturdy he is, and then I went home and opened a bottle of Omachi Macho💪 for Gori.
This is my first time to try the fire-roasted type 🤔.
It's the first time for me to drink the fire-aged type 🤔.
The smell is just the right amount of melon.
When you drink it, you will be surprised by the melon 🍈, but the gasiness is stronger.
The flavor is strong and dry, unlike the fresh one. The lingering aftertaste is bitter and melon-like, leaving a long aftertaste.
I think it's more of a mealtime drink than a stand-alone wine...
I wonder how the taste will change 😆.

I heard that Urasato-san is very popular in the Kanto area, so I was curious and went there!
I was curious about it, so I went there! I was told that it is available all year round, so I decided to pass on it this time... I caught the Senkou bug 🌈.
