Founded in 1681, Gunma's long-established Makino Shuzo brewery has released a challenging bottle of "macho Oubai".
As the name suggests, it has a robust impression, but its flavor is surprisingly refined. Its powerful umami and mellow richness spread over the tongue, and while the fullness of the rice can be felt, the aftertaste is clean and crisp. It is like a gentleman with a well-trained body and delicate manners.
#Sake
#Jin Ueda
The comical label is punchy. 80% Omachi rice polishing ratio. Slightly yellow in color, fresh and slightly effervescent from the raw sake. The aroma is banana-like and gorgeous. The umami of the rice can be felt well, but the aftertaste is clean and smooth. A happy and uplifting sake!
Chobei I started brewing sake at the present location in 1690. Until the Edo period (1603-1868), the name "Chobei" was used for generations, and the brand name of sake was "Chomori". When Oguri Uenosuke, an official of the Tokugawa shogunate, went to the U.S. on an embassy mission in 1801, his ancestors accompanied him and celebrated with a large sake cup upon his safe return.
When the bottle is opened, it has an aroma of melon and a hint of namune, and when you drink it, it is dry and has many different tastes.
It is a complex and varied bottle!
Very interesting.
It is sparkling and very gorgeous. The 80% rice polishing ratio gives it a punchy omachi flavor, yet it is easy to drink and pair with food. I paired it with a home-made hamburger steak. The label matches the concept and yellowish color, and it is properly delicious.
From the very distinctive label of Makino Sake Brewery's Ohai, macho Junmai Yamadanishiki 80%.
Even with 80% polished rice, this dry junmai has a beautifully clean flavor of rice without any cloying taste.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Polishing ratio 80% (100% Omachi is used)
Alcohol content: 15%.
Sushi, snacks, Atago
A crisp aroma.
The sweetness is accompanied by a refreshing and refreshing sensation that runs down the throat.
It is just like the training of a fine macho man.
Tonight we had #Ohaii #MACHO Junmai Omachi from #Makino Sake Brewery in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. This is a repeat of a delicious sake we've had in the past 😊.
It has a refreshing freshness reminiscent of lemon and grapefruit with the mellow flavor of Omachi. It also has a gassy feel, perfect for this early summer weather. Delicious and brilliant as always 😊.
Low Milling Series
Gorilla🦍 Macho💪.
The initial punch is powerful🤜 due to the low milled rice.
However, it has a sharpness that disappears without being persistent, while expanding in a mysterious and well-balanced way.
The alcohol taste is more elongated than Aizan, but it's not a habit. I think Macho series is the best sake that can be sharp while producing 😆 😆 😁.
I'm sick of it, but I'll make sure to disinfect it with alcohol 🫡 lol
