I've had a few nigori this season and I think this was the best I've personally tasted.
It was energetic enough to blow me away with gusto, not too dry, not too sweet, and completely to my liking 🍶👍.
Purchased as a souvenir on a trip to Ibaraki.
It is a local brand of Urasato, and according to the store owner, "Ibaraki people always drink it during the year-end and New Year's holidays" 😳.
Like Urasato, it is not too sweet and has a gaseous taste that I never get tired of drinking!
It was a pleasant drinking experience with a strong gaseous sensation that seemed to blow out for the first time in a long time and was very shwashy. It was a delicious sake with a firm sweetness and a silky nigori taste that was highly satisfying on its own.
Purchased on a trip to Shiraishi.
The sweetness of the rice is followed by a sharp alcohol taste and sharpness.
The owner told me that they are trying to make Miyagi sake less sweet so that people can keep drinking it.
I was impressed and thought to myself, "Well, that certainly makes sense.
I heard that Kenkunichi is not that glamorous, but I bought it because it was recommended on social media.
It was recommended to me on social media, so I bought it!
It has a good balance of sweetness, bitterness, and sharpness, and I never get tired of drinking it as a mid-meal drink, so I can drink it indefinitely.
Maybe it's because it's hiya oroshi, but I think it has a mellowness to it too 🍶.
I happened to find out by chance that Kankoubai, a sake I had secretly liked for some time, had won a gold medal, and bought it.
It is a sake that I would like to drink deeply, with the royal Yamada-Nishiki aroma and taste.
It is not too sweet, and I never get tired of drinking it.
It blew up perfectly when I opened the bottle 😆.
I had an image of sparkling being low-alcohol, but at 14 degrees, it was reasonable and tasted like a solid sake.
I wasn't sure if there was a Yamamoto-ness to it or not, but I think it's perfect as a sake sparkling.
Perfect for such a hot day👍.
At a liquor store in Numazu, I asked, "Do you have any modern Shizuoka sake?" I asked at a liquor store in Numazu if they had any modern Shizuoka sake, and they recommended this sake from Gotemba, where a brewery had recently been established.
It was indeed fruity and modern, and the rice used was delicious.
It is a sake that I am looking forward to trying in the future.
It was refreshing and acidic like a summer sake.
It wasn't my favorite, but I guess Nagano has a high level of quality 👌
It can be served on the rocks!
I had been curious about this locally distributed brand of Kangiku, and discovered it at a legendary 7-Eleven.
It is a little restrained, but has a fruity taste that is typical of Kangiku, and I can taste the umami and feel a high level of quality.
This is certainly something to be proud of.
I was careful to open the bottle because it was an active nigori, but it was completely quiet and out of sync.
It has a nice piquancy, but it's so mild that it's not even slightly effervescent. It's silky and at 13 degrees Celsius, it's easy to drink, but I don't think it's very drinkable.
It seems to be a popular local sake in Kanagawa Prefecture, and I happened to find it and bought it.
It came in a box and was gorgeous, but the price was about 2100.
It is sweet but with a refreshing sweetness, and has a kind of beautiful taste. It doesn't interfere with meals and I can keep drinking it. Delicious👍
I bought it because I have heard the name a lot lately and it is my favorite Yamae Nishiki.
It is very well-balanced and juicy-dry when on the lees, I like it!
Nagano really has a high level of quality 👏.
I was attracted by the melon-like flavor of the package.
Kochi has an image of drunken whales, but this one has a sweet taste. I don't think it has the same melon flavor as the package, but I think it has a nice sharpness and can be used as a food sake.
The first Kakuemon, commonly known as Pinkaku.
It has a strong melon flavor, fresh and powerful.
The alcohol content is 17%, so it has a sharp taste, but it has a nice sharpness and is good as a food sake!
It has a subtle sweetness at the moment of drinking, followed by a sake-like umami taste.
It is a sake that goes down smoothly because of its 13% alcohol content, and it is the kind of sake that keeps you going from one drink to the next. I didn't like the Freaks I had before, but I like this one 🫤.
I was attracted by the phrase "only those who make reservations can buy it".
There is almost no ori, but it tastes like the Yamadanishiki, a modern royalty and very satisfying!
It's as good as you'd expect from Kuheiji.
I bought it last year and remembered how good it tasted, so I bought it again this year.
I was a little concerned about the acidity in the supernatant, but after stirring it, the balance was just right and it became my favorite flavor! It has no peculiarities and can be drunk easily and refreshingly.
It was a delicious sake full of freshness, the exact opposite of what is called "ero-fudo" 🤭.
When I went to the "Noto local sake market" in Nihonbashi, I saw that they were selling Da Kei, which I had enjoyed when I traveled there the year before the earthquake, so I bought it out of nostalgia and as a show of support.
I was told that the sake rice was miraculously rescued and brewed together at Tengumai's facility. The taste was more classic than the one I had previously tasted, but it was also refreshing and well-balanced as a food sake.
I think it is really hard to rebuild a sake brewery that has been completely destroyed, but I would like to support them in any way I can 🍶🙂.
