OSAKA-JO SAKE SQUARE 2023(´¦) Very sharp and refreshing, a dry sake with a thick body that is not light. A junmai sake that tastes great chilled. No strong character, but good for everyday drinking I imagined that Frog's ginjo-nama-zake next to it would also be good, but my weak liver stopped screaming and I gave up on it! At home. Fukuju after a long time. I visited Kobe Shu-shin-kan and bought this sake as it was recommended. Bright red bottle. The aroma is fruity and the taste is sweet and spicy on the palate. Although the alcohol content is 17%, it is a refreshingly tasty and easy-to-drink gem. It was a quintessential Fukuju. It was a warm day and we were able to visit the restaurant just as the cherry blossoms were falling.

Sake from a brewery famous for Ryujinmaru. It has been a very long time since Kirakuri. After Shikishima, tkmts-san was drinking Ryujinmaru, and I wanted to try something of Takagaki-san's sake, so I chose Kirakuri. This time it was an unfiltered raw Nakadori. It has a caramelized taste with sweetness and a sense of maturity. It's just a coincidence that there is a succession of sakes with a sense of maturity, such as Washin, Shikishima, and Kirakuri.

The fourth glass was my first sake, Miyako Bijin The fourth glass was a freshly squeezed, light nigori sake of Miyako Bijin, which is a first for me. It is silky, sweet and bitter (with a weak bitterness). Silky, sweet and bitter (with a weak bitterness). I bought it last year as a souvenir from Utsunomiya. It's been a while since I've had "out of the gate", but my taste buds have changed since the last time I had it, so I'm looking forward to it! When you open the bottle and pour it, it smells like citrus fruits and lychee. It is tasteless on the palate, but gradually the richness and mellowness of the rice comes out. The sweetness, spiciness, and astringency of the flavor are all present as soon as the lid is opened! Although it is a junmai ginjo, it has such a robust flavor that it may be served warm. The overtone is similar to that of "Shinkame" and gives the impression of a matured sake. The lingering aftertaste is well rounded as it quickly fades away. Overall, the shades of gray are exquisite, and the taste is quite interesting! In fact, the first sake I ever drank in my life was "Monkai Fude. I was actually the first person in my life to drink sake, and that drink at Kinugawa Onsen has led me to the present day.

On the Shinkansen, we open another bottle of Nara Sake, Kisenju✨. The palate is sweet and sour and yogurt-like. It is light and pleasantly schwishy. It is easy to drink even in a tipsy state! It is also gorgeous and strawberry-like, so it feels like strawberry yogurt. And the last one is Yamazaki 12 years old from sake. We ended our trip with a glass of Shinkansen Gokukkatai ice cream 😌. There are still many places I want to visit, so I will visit Kansai again if I have a chance...!
