I went to Osaka over the weekend, so I took a short trip to Nara to visit a sake brewery😊Umenoyado‼️Hatsu Umenoyado㊗️
I had it right away and the taste was unexpected‼️
It is a bitter and pungent taste without acidity ✨It is a different kind of bitterness from the minerality of Ame-go-Tsuki or Umi-fu-do. A sharp bitterness reminiscent of Oroku-san🤞
Well, today's dinner is cold shabu shabu according to my husband's request💕and spicy miso stir-fried eggplant, komatsuna and white bunapi 😊wasabi nori tsukudani and brown rice.
A coincidental pairing, but the miso flavor with a little bit of soybean paste and the sesame sauce from the shabu shabu goes well together 😍.
I've always had a hard time pairing miso with sake, but I see how the roundness and sweetness of miso can help if you indulge in the bitterness 🧐.
The white Bunapi seems to contain a lot of ornithine, which is good for the liver 💕.
However, it's 17 degrees, so it's not a swishy drink 💦 very hard-core sake experience 😍.
Dessert was Earl Grey Milk Tea Gelato and it went so well with it that you couldn't even taste the bitterness and spiciness 🥰I guess the bitterness of the liquor and the bitterness of the Earl Grey went well together 🥰. I'll make it again 👏💪🍨.
Impressions on the alcohol by itself are in charge of shinsake3💕.
Good evening, Peckho😄I see you've been on a tour of sake breweries in Nara❣️Ume no Yado, with its high alcohol content and dry taste... it's tough for me🤣 but I also discovered that it went well with miso 🎯 I'm surprised it went well with Earl Grey 😍.
HinaHanaMama🌸That's true. It's also spicy and bitter, which I'm not a big fan of 💦, but it was surprisingly easy to match with food and aroma. ‼️ I was surprised to learn that sake has a lot of depth 😍.
Overall 7 (out of 10)
I had to go to Osaka on 3/22 and 3/23, so I stopped by on my way home and bought this 💴.
It was my first time to drink this sake 🍶.
According to the description
It has a calm and gentle aroma reminiscent of blue citrus fruits, and a smooth mouthfeel that doesn't give off a strong alcohol taste, but the rice flavor expands at the end and finishes with the strength of the raw sake. It is a dry sake that goes well with meals without being too assertive.
According to the brewer, "It is a dry sake that goes well with meals without being too assertive.
It is a dry sake 🍶.
They say it is not too assertive, but it has quite a presence 😅It is dry and 17 degrees, but it is certainly easy to drink for that 👍.
I had it chilled.

Here are my personal impressions

Good evening, shinsaku3😄
It's quite dry and has a high alcohol content, but it's unusual for you two 😅I'll never get around to it 😅I wonder if dry sake is easy to drink depending on the snacks? Looks like the miso matched this time👍.
Good morning, shinsaku3!
Congratulations on your first Umenoyado ㊗️ on your way back to Osaka 🎉We haven't had it yet, but I like citrusy dry sake 😋 so I'd like to try it 🤗.
Hi shinsaku3, 🐦.
I see you were in Kansai! Welcome 😊
I haven't been to Umenoyado yet 💦It's a magnificent sake brewery✨I see it's a brewery yeast sake! I'd love to try some 🎶.
Good morning, Hinahana mama 😃.
It was high in alcohol + dry, but it was easy to drink for that 😃.
I wonder if the dry wine will expand its world with pairings rather than by itself 🧐.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Thank you 😊
I thought it would be quite tough with its dry taste and high alcohol content, but it was rather easy to drink 😅.
I'm glad it was easy to drink dry sake like that 👍
Good morning, Pon-chan 😃.
It's been a long time since I was in Kansai, but I came back before I had time to enjoy it fully😅.
It was a very beautiful and magnificent sake brewery👍.
I think the sake with brewer's yeast + nama yeast has a kind of wild taste 🧐.
Today's liqueur is not a liqueur.
Unshu mandarins, so sweet and delicious.
The alcohol content is 7 degrees.
It is higher than beer.
It's a good thing sometimes.
Acidic and tasty. It has a yellowish color and a slightly classic, refreshing taste.
My son won this bottle from a 1,000 yen gacha at a brewery opening in the fall of the year before last. The two dried fish included in the package were, of course, in his stomach long ago.
The junmai we drank at the brewery opening last fall was "clear, refreshing, slightly acidic, and good," so I wonder if it has deteriorated by being kept at room temperature for a year.
As well as the fresh sake in the refrigerator, we should drink the fire-aged sake while it is still tasty.
The photo shows the entrance decoration at the opening of the brewery the year before last and the scene from last year's Osaka Pro Wrestling match. Too bad the weather was not so good last year...
I read the label on the back of the bottle carefully and found that it is supposed to be served at room temperature or lukewarm, so I warmed it up on the second day. I usually don't like heated sake, but this sake seemed to be better suited for this purpose than for chilled sake. It seems that junmai without red plum is also suitable for chilled drinking.
Good evening, Mr. Manachie. Do you like Osaka Pro Wrestling? On the day of the event, it looked a little cold with the occasional sprinkling of rain and everyone with bare skin going around the warehouse building to call out to the crowd, but the ring mat was a lot of fun!
It is easy to drink with a very gentle acidity derived from the traditional sake yeast yeast. The acidity is very gentle and easy to drink: ❣️
I wonder how it tastes like when it's made from omachi and sake yeast 🤔.
I think about it 😳
The umami is also gentle and very delicious 😋It became one of my favorite bottles 🍶‼️
Three minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara Station.
The main sake shop is "Umashu".
Nara sake is lined up in tight rows.
Exciting to see the wonderful view! It's a masterpiece!
The first cup here is Mairu's Umenoyado.
It is delicious with a mild taste!
The second restaurant I had always wanted to visit was "Nara no sakagura zenzoku nemu umashu" (Nara's sake breweries all drinking umashu).
There, I did not hesitate to try Umenoyado!
It was the sake I wanted to drink in Nara this time!
It was one of the sake that I had in my sake debut drinking comparison.
What a stylish label!
It was delicious with just the right amount of acidity!
