At home. First Hiroshima, first Saijotsuru. The aroma seems to have a strong alcohol feeling. The sourness spreads in the mouth, and the sweetness comes a little later. Tonight, we paired this first sake with Japanese food for dinner. Saijotsuru Jun Dai Black Label Hibi Seishin Nakadori Nama Sake✨. I have not had much luck with Hiroshima sake so far, but I hope this will be a new encounter for you: ☺️ I've never had much luck with Hiroshima sake, but I'm hoping to meet some new people. Is Tachika a characteristic of the rice? Is it the yeast? The aroma is not so strong, but it is a bit of a "chemi" aroma. The taste has the fresh acidity and clear quality of Nakadori Nama-shu, with soft fruit flavors of muscat and lychee, and finishes crisply with a dry taste with a strong sense of alcohol in the latter half. It is perfect as a food sake and does not interfere with meals, but it is also delicious when drunk on its own 😋.

I went shopping at Aeon today and found this Toko on the shelf near the expiration date in the sake section. I've never had a sake from Yamagata before so I bought this one. It's a dry and robust sake ☺️. I like the taste. I thought I've never had a sake from Yamagata prefecture but I did. I had a hard time deciding between it and Nanbu Bijin but it didn't matter.
