Although it's next door, I haven't had Osaka's sake yet. I was thinking of Akishika or Katanozakura for Osaka, but I found this one at AEON today while shopping. There is no outstanding sweetness or spiciness, but a well-balanced taste. It's a good sake for eating. When I paired it with yuba and fried eggplant with sesame oil, I felt like I could drink as much as I wanted 😋. Good sake in the neighborhood too👍.

At home. This is the first time I've had sake from Hokkaido. I thought that Hokkaido's sake was more alcoholic, but it was completely different. You can feel the sweetness of the rice, and there is a bitter taste at the end. It is a refreshing type and very easy to drink. We received a lot of sake from Hokkaido, so we will try to taste and upload it little by little.

A Drink to Remember Series (5) In the early summer of 2015, I planned to take my car on a ferry to Wakkanai, Hokkaido, and when I arrived safely in Wakkanai, I had a drink at a yakitori restaurant for the first time in my life 🍶. The memory reminds me of the faint muscat-like aroma and sharp sharp sharpness 😋. The beauty of the label with the brand name, the wish behind the name "Fuyu Hanabi", and the taste of the local sake when you drink it on a trip...it was one of the reasons I became a sake lover 🎵. I tasted it during the New Year holidays. I thought it was arabashiri, but the staff mistakenly put shiboritate in it 🤣. It was fresh and easy to drink even though it had been fired once.

Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.

Junmai Ginjo🍶Aged Sake✨Snow❄️☃️ Aged sake, light yellow in color. Cold sake, matured, Daruma Masamune-like. Not heavy, warmed to 60 degrees. Soft around the edges. Mellow. ☺️ It's still a sake for warming up. I served it with scallop sashimi sent from my relatives in Hokkaido 😋The scallops were huge and delicious💕. Purchased at Iida Sake Shop @ Shiki.

Sake Day I wanted to open something from the fridge😅. I've never heard of this sake before but I've been curious about it since Mariponnu's check-in 😊. First Koimari! I wish I could have been there to see it all! The other day I walked past the liquor section of a large supermarket and found a familiar name for a sake 😁I found Chitoku, the gateway to Miyazaki Prefecture 🐎 breaking through the impregnable castle gate of Miyazaki Prefecture 🐎. I used only ayu (sweetfish) for this dish. I also served bonito and Spanish mackerel tataki with a lot of myoga. It has a slightly high alcohol content and sweetness for a Niigata sake, so it went well with the ayu fish, bonito and Spanish mackerel. It was a good evening drink.

At home. First time in Gifu, Shirakawa-go. It's very thick, even among the nigorizake I've drunk. The aroma is like sweet sake.
