I'm opening them all up because they are overstocked😅. I couldn't buy it last year and have been waiting for a year. The one I had at the Japanese sake festival was very subtle so I wanted to make sure 🤔. Fresh and fizzy. It has little sweetness, but the gasiness on top of the bitterness is very nice. I'd like to try the sake made with Kame-no-o that comes out around spring.

Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`;) I see that the sake is from Nada. I recently found out that there is a small sake brewery in Nada and bought some Houmusume, which was outstandingly delicious! And this Hamafukutsuru! This is also wonderful! It has a beautiful breadth of flavor and just the right amount of body. The best part is the price: about 1,100 yen! I wish there was one in my neighborhood! When I go to Kobe for Onsen (hot springs), it is so close to the station that I might even stop by a sake brewery just for this!

Next up was the Ittiki Senzan Comet Nama-no-Hara Sake. The only sake from Gifu that I know of is Ikki Senzan, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was a brand that had just been opened. Long time no post! Took me a while to drink 2 squares 🤣. I bought it at my usual Marunaka Ohashi Shoten. I let it sleep in the refrigerator. The price was 1,396 yen (720ml) I'll be back soon! I love the fruity scent💕. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it's worth it. It's a good sake that's easy to drink, but you can still taste the sweetness and flavor of the rice. It's a dangerous sake for someone like me who is weak in alcohol. Today's pairing is Daikon and Chicken Teriyaki. It's good as a single item, but it's also recommended as a sake for a meal. Hiyaoroshi is the best👍.
