Shibuya with customers (1) Yesterday, a drinking party for a group of four with occasional customers. A rather nice restaurant on the edge of Shibuya. A little nice restaurant on the outskirts of Shibuya. The first sake was a request from one of the other guests, Niida Shizen-shu, which none of us had ever had before. (I've had it a few times myself ๐). But the "Tamura" that came out was the first time I had ever had it! ๐. It's like a natural sake, dark and strong. Sweet, tasty, sour all there ๐. But not as sweet as regular natural sake? First dish, hand-rolled seared conger eel and shijimi clam soup!

We attended a year-end party for parents of my second son's high school club! Although there are some rank restrictions, we enjoyed drinking all the sake we could drink ๐. The 4th glass! Koshino-Hachiho Junmai Sake This is also a brand new to me! It is a light and dry sake with the main flavor of rice. It is a typical food sake that does not interfere with the taste of the meal.

Niigata Sake no Jin OSAKAโฐ The booth of [Koshinohatoyo]. I had drunk it before, but at the time, I only had the impression that it was labeled with a family crest of Rokubun Sen. The sake was -5 on the sake meter. Originally, they sold a dry sake and a sweet sake, but the sweet sake was said to be too sweet, so they made this sake. It has a moderate sweetness, a complex bitterness in the aftertaste, and a sharp convergence from a slightly nutty taste. Sake: Sake with a Sake meter of -10. Sake meter rating -10, not sticky sweet, but clear sweet. It doesn't feel that sweet to me, but I guess that's just a matter of the temperature range. Koshinohatoyo Junmai Genshu. The umami taste is felt and then there is a bitter bitterness, and from the aroma that passes through the nose, the richness of the rice flavor. It has the sense of sake at the beginning. The image of Rokubun Sen has changed to the image of Kanji characters like "pine blossom".

Niigata Sake no Jin OSAKAโฏ Echigo Sake Brewery of the Ozeki Group is a little-known sake brewery. Ozeki also has other breweries Shirakiku Brewery (Okayama Prefecture, Japan) Yamato Sake Brewery (Saga Prefecture, Japan) (I believe their sake brewery is closed) Narutaki Brewery (Saga Prefecture, Japan) Juraku Taikoh, Taki Other shochu breweries are also under the control of Narutaki. We drank Echigo's Umakuchi Junmai Sake Not too sweet, but tasty and delicious! Echigo's sweet Junmai-shu As in the past, it doesn't seem too sweet when served cold. It should be served at room temperature or heated. Nemuchi-san said it was not too sweet for a sake with -10 sake strength. I got the impression it was a classic sweet sake. Koshinohatoyo Junmai Genshu Strong and umami. Is it possible to sell it at a low price because of the Ozeki Group?

Get it at "Marugoto Kochi" in Ginza, Tokyoโ๏ธ. I had never heard of this brand before, but it was delicious โฃ๏ธ. The rice used was something from Kochi Prefecture. It has a fresh citrusy taste like a fresh sake, with a rich mouthfeel, but it goes down smoothly. The aftertaste is clean and crisp. If I had to say something, I would say that I would like a little more sweetness, but it is just right for light drinking.

Second day of Kochi Night. The cab driver told me that Hirome is good, but for bonito, I should go to Matsuri Jaya. He advised me to go to Matsuri Jaya for bonito, as it has a good selection of alcohol. So we went to Matsuri Jaya. At first, we started out with regular sake, just like a normal drinking party in Kochi. The staff at the restaurant recommended various temperatures for drinking. The first sake is Fujimusume, which I have never tried before. Slightly spicy and umami-guchi (flavorful), it was a perfect match for the thickly sliced salt cod roe. The special sake cup is also cute! But from here, I sank into the swamp of Kochi sake.

Rice used is unknown. According to the owner of the sake shop, the sake is aged for three years, but there is no strong sense of aging, and it is a dry junmai-shu with a good acidity. It is a dry junmai-shu with a lot of acidity. The sweetness that spreads fluently and the spicy astringency in the latter half are very unique. After a few days, it becomes more crisp and easy to drink. For my taste, I'd like to have more of a woody or smoky flavor. Either way, it's not a type that will appeal to everyone. The mainstay of this brewery is Yamahai brewing, so it will be interesting to see how peculiar it is.

Sake made from 100% Omachi rice Mild sweetness spreads in the mouth, followed by a pleasant acidity that is well balanced. At the tasting, I tasted a ripe LaFrance.... I was attracted by the words "Ripe LaFrance" and tasted it... I was scared ๐ณ. This is really LaFrance ๐! The way the aftertaste pulls away from the ๐ is fantastic๐. Originally made by another brewery, but when they quit, Aihara Brewery took over the brewery. I heard it used to reign in the East and West with Jyushiyo (never had it...) ๐ค. I don't have any experience so I can't compare, but this one is different for me personally!

Kaneizumi is another brand of Aihara Shuzo, famous for Amego no Tsuki. This white lightning bolt is a spot product. On the palate, it has an elegant and discreet mix of sweetness and acidity, with a sharp finish that cuts through with a touch of bitterness! The bitterness is a nice accent, making it a very tasty sake that goes well with the season ๐.

The aroma is as if it was made with hana-yosuyu in mind. However, the aroma is weak because it is fire-aged. The sweetness is also weak due to the weak aroma. I am a little curious to see how it would be like if it were a fresh sake. It was delicious โจ๐.
