Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`) The effect of oak barrels, or something quite close to whiskey, but the mellowness and acidity of sake is also alive! I know it's just my imagination, but I feel it's similar to the whiskey akashi. Of course, if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't have thought so. I also had a bottle of Junmai Namae in the heated sake corner, but my memory is a little fuzzy on whether or not my brain was getting the alcohol when I got here! I do remember that it was meant to be heated, but that's about it.

I am amazed that rice can give this flavor 😳. It is aged in wine barrels, so you can taste the peculiar flavor of red wine 🍷. The taste is very intense and the sake level is -23 degrees, but thanks to the strong acidity, it is not sweet like a juice, but has a sharp taste 😊. It would go well with a dark meal 🍖🍛. It was delicious. It costs 3,000 yen for 500ml, but I would recommend this new type of sake 💸.

I drank WAKAZE for the first time. It is a white wine with strong acidity and a little sweetness.... It is a little bit different from so-called sake in the category of "other brewed sake" (because it contains herbs? (Is it because it contains herbs as ingredients?) Yopa Memo_φ(____) Spicy cider Good sharpness Seems to go well with oily food I think it's possible to have it when it gets cold, like ice cream with a kotatsu (a table over a kotatsu), and then have it at a nabe (hot pot). But then again, this amount might not be enough... It was delicious 😋😋😋.

Yesterday we went to Bicchu Matsuyama and Kibi Tsu! We were worried about rain, but it was really fortuitous that it shifted and we saw some sunshine. The view over the magnificent stone walls and town at the top of the mountain was exceptional ✨. Then we visited the Kibitsu Shrine, with its long corridor and historic appearance. The long corridor and historic appearance of the Kibitsu Shrine that we visited afterwards was truly heartwarming 🍑. After exploring, we crossed the Seto Inland Sea and drank a glass of Kibi-shu 🍶. When you open the bottle, you will find a deep aroma of nuts and chestnuts. The mouthfeel is slippery and dry. It is full-bodied with a punch of acidity and astringency, as well as a full-bodied rice flavor. It has a presence like nuts and bitter chocolate. However, the stimulation of the hot, acidic, and astringent taste tightens it up like a whip, and it has a good salty taste with a firm edge!

(*) 🍶🍶🍶🍶 It was hot today, so I had a bottle of Dobrock. It's my first time to drink in Tokyo😙It was separated so I mixed it up and opened the bottle. It was very carbonated and I spilled a lot of water 😛 It was so fizzy it was like pouring cider into a glass. It's not too sweet and the grains of rice are delicious. It's also good on a hot day as it's chilled 😀.

I couldn't go anywhere during the second half of GW because I had to stay at home. So on the last day, I will just enjoy the feeling of traveling with this cup of sake. It has an alcoholic taste, but it is sweet and easy to drink. Since it is a Hokkaido sake, we also had some delicacies that Men-chan gave us. Thank you very much.

The second day in Miyako, Kamaishi, and Kesennuma🎵 was spent in Kesennuma, the first visit to this area in 38 years. During the day, I was impressed by the ruins of Kesennuma Marine High School, a relic of the Great East Japan Earthquake, and at night, I was thankful to be alive thanks to the seafood of Sanriku. On the second day of our fulfilling Miyagi trip, we had a special menu at the hotel: Otokoyama bonito sake. Normally, I would not buy this kind of snack, but the woman I was with from Ichinoseki recommended it as a great dish. Even if it's not bonito, it washes away the umami and goes well with oily sashimi. It is also good when served cold, as the acidity is more pronounced than with cold sake. Ebisu is also a good omen as it is a sake from the sea. It is a pity that Mizutori-ki Hiyadoroshi was sold out.

Next was the Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Sake Takumi no Omachi. Compared to the Yamada-Nishiki we drank earlier, the taste is a little more robust. The aroma is almost imperceptible, but the sweetness and umami of the flavor is stronger than that of Yamadanishiki. I was full of anticipation, wondering what this sake, which won first place in the Governor's Award, would taste like! A sake that has won various awards. There are many, so check it out yourself! The aroma is fresh and elegant sake aroma. And what is worth mentioning is the taste. You can taste the sweetness of apples and white peaches and the refreshing acidity of pears. Very fresh and fruity. The aftertaste disappears quickly. A refined, fresh, and lush sake. I would like to give my personal impression, so here is my general comment. Overall review ~ S~. If you like sweet, fresh, fruity and refreshing sake, you should try this. I don't want to say "this one", I want you to drink Akashitai. It is a gem that should be enjoyed not only by drinking, but also by rolling it around on the tongue like a wine. It is one of my top five favorite sake. If you like sweet Akashi-tai, please drink it.

Akashi Taihai Unfiltered Honjozo Nama Sake Akashi Sake Brewery Co. alc. 19 degrees, rice polishing ratio 70%. 720ml, about 2000 yen (I think it was about...)
