去年店頭で見かけて気になってたけど値段がネックでスルーしたお酒。在庫処分なのか2割引だったので購入してみた😅 1年経ってるから少し不安だったけど熟成感は無くフレッシュで甘旨。甘過ぎやろってくらい甘い🤣 だけど少し甘ダレしてるような印象。製造日からすぐ飲めばめっちゃ美味しそうな雰囲気めっちゃ感じる。

Purchased with Tenryo sake cup at Okuhiroya in Kayashima. They stocked it because it was well received at a Saga sake tasting event held for sake retailers. Probably not normally available in the Kansai region. The rice is made from Hokkaido's Kitashizuku. I know Nabeshima also uses Kitashizuku. The famous sake from Yoshino, Nara, Shojo no Oni👹san series❣️. The founder of Shugendo, Yakushokaku, was served by a couple of demons: the husband demon was Zendo Oni (the former demon) and the wife was Myodo Oni (the latter demon). This is the first time I bought a sake named after that Zendo Oni 😆. I was originally under the impression that Shoto was a fruity, easy-drinking sake, but this Zendo Oni is so rich and full-bodied that it is hard to believe it is a Jungin of Gohyakumangoku 😳. It has a nice melon feeling and a full-bodied flavor reminiscent of Tamagawa❣️. This is the last Maikaze series for this year. It's been quite a while, but we'll be having "Mt. Haruna" for the last time! When the bottle is opened and poured, it has a relaxing sweet aroma. It has a peachy aroma. It also has a slightly banana-like flavor. The palate is smooth, as is typical of Gunma sake, with a slight sweetness that is typical of "Maifu" and a nice astringent taste that plays an active role in the background! The astringency also gives it a mineral taste, which I personally feel is similar to the "Tenpyo Junmai" that I drank before👍. In the latter half, the astringency becomes the main taste, which reminds me of grapefruit. It melts away at the end, so it goes down smoothly! I've enjoyed many Maikaze series this year, including "Akagisan"✨I'm looking forward to next year!
