The second drink at Marukoma was my first "Koshu". It is light and crisp with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. The second sake was "Koshu", which is also from Niigata but has a different flavor from the "Hokusetsu" that we drank for the first sake 🎵.

Arikato Junmai Daiginjo This is a limited edition sake from the Fuji Shuzo brewery of our favorite Eiko-Fuji. It doesn't have the gassiness of Eiko-Fuji, so the sweetness stands out a bit, but it's still juicy and gorgeous. It's delicious 😊Arikatou!

#Funabori# A bit of a bad look 😅. Homemade sundubu jjigae with a side of homemade sundubu jjigae. We had this one. The sundubu jjigae was I kept the spiciness low so that my family could also enjoy it. I made the best use of the soup stock of shijimi clam. The sake does not have much rice flavor 🤔. Maybe because it is a ginjo sake. It is quite light.

I had my first bottle of Shinshin in spring and it was delicious! I was able to get a bottle of Shinshin's summer sake, and I immediately opened it 😋. Slightly sweet and refreshing taste like summer sake🤣. It's as refreshing as the label says and perfect for a hot day like today 👍 thanks for the drink❗️

The last of Hankyu Brewery Festival The first one: Fukuoka Wakatakeya Debut Sake like a dark white wine with the flavor of rice. But it is easy to drink! But be careful, it has 17 degrees of alcohol! Sake from a brewery famous for Ryujinmaru. It has been a very long time since Kirakuri. After Shikishima, tkmts-san was drinking Ryujinmaru, and I wanted to try something of Takagaki-san's sake, so I chose Kirakuri. This time it was an unfiltered raw Nakadori. It has a caramelized taste with sweetness and a sense of maturity. It's just a coincidence that there is a succession of sakes with a sense of maturity, such as Washin, Shikishima, and Kirakuri.

Wakayama Pref. Arita-gun. Takagakizo Co. Kiraku-ri Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo Unrefined Nakakumi I bought this at my first liquor store while I went to Wakayama to buy dried fish during GW. I wanted to get Ryujinmaru, but they said it was not available now. They will sell it to anyone who comes to the store. I had it with cold sake. The color is clear and slightly yellow. The top aroma is of almonds, caramel, chocolate, and a little alcohol. The label on the back of the bottle says that it was fermented slowly and for a long time at a low temperature, so I guess it has an aged aroma. The taste is thick and voluminous with a grain-like flavor. There is also a good amount of acidity. There is an almond aroma that goes into the nose, an alcoholic aroma, and a guttural sake-like sensation in the throat. The alcohol content of 19 degrees comes later. After adding a bit of ice and water, the alcohol feeling is reduced and it becomes easier to drink. Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic) Polishing ratio: 50%. Alcohol content: 15%.
